  1. Just wanna say a huge thankyou to Sue, Charlie and Sam for organising this years DJ memorial ride. Despite the weather there was still a great turn out, and the rain didn't seem to stop many from riding. I'm extremely glad that I could make it to this one, especially with it being the last ever one. It was great to see some new faces and meet some new people, hope to see them at ride's soon. Especially Sam, get your bike sorted and come on out to a ride
  2. And your point is? This ride is about remembering DJ and other rider's that we have lost over the years. It's about rider's from all over the country coming together in one place to show there respect and support. It's not about the riding at all, a 7 hour round trip is well worth it.
  3. And I get to put up with your drunkeness in the car. Just make sure your ready for 8:30. Sleep tight x
  4. Its dry with sunny intervals here in Bournemouth. Gotta remember to grind my rim in the morning.
  5. Its raining here in chippenham. Still looking to it, should be a great day.
  6. Spot on What ever the weather it will still be on.
  7. Yeah, it's not looking good. My wheel needs a grind anyway, so shall be doing that tomorrow. I'l be prepared to ride in the rain, and if it doesn't rain then even better.
  8. Mine should have arrived this morning. Should be doing it, though I'l be pretty knackered
  9. I like that. Very risky, but fair point.
  10. I passed my theory back in December, got an instructor in February and Passed just over 2 weeks ago. Both were first time passes. For my practical I had told my instructor when I wanted to be driving by, then when he said that I better start looking at booking my test, I was straight online checking availability. There was nothing for May then a day later I managed to have a choice of a few in May with my instructor, so I'm guessing they were cancellation's as they were available before.
  11. Luke, I can prob squeeze you in, would be able to give you a lift from Southend all the way down to Plymouth and then back up as far as Southampton. If that helps at all then let me know.
  12. It is a puzzler, lol. I should have Rob Brodie tagging along for the whole trip, but still got a spare seat. I'm hoping that Dave Anscombe will take it, as I know he'll love the trip.
  13. I s Phil not coming down or any of the others from that way?
  14. Just got home. Had a really good ride, was a bit random going to taunton after riding Exeter for awhile, but was cool. First time I've been to either place, but will definately go again. Met some new people and had a laugh, hope to see those that can make it in Abingdon this Saturday.
  15. Im going down to Bognor With Rob Brodie and meeting Dan Brooker and Chris Elson. I'm not quite sure where were meeting yet, but I'm sure Rob will come on and mention it. I guess were meeting at 11. Everyone's welcome to come and ride.
  16. Yeah there's no congestion charges on the weekend. There's is free parking near Waterloo from sat midday - sunday midnight so parking shouldn't be a problem, then Reading is probably about an hr depending on traffic.
  17. Well done Simpson. Will be cool to have as many as possible for the whole length. Shame about the pole at the moment. The drive from Pompey to Bristol will be horrible, cutting through countryside, hey ho it'll be alright on the night
  18. Just been looking at it on google maps. Reading before Portsmouth is 10 miles more than doing Portsmouth first, so I vote London - Pompey - Reading, just to save that lil bit on fuel. My total should be approx 666 miles. Same here Luke, would be handy to have a person or two in the car.
  19. Nice. like NASS only in a different location everyday, and you'll be able to actually ride trials
  20. Sounds interesting, would be pretty up for that. The whole lot that is. So are people just gonna sleep where ever, lol? I'l be driving too, so will have space for a couple people. How come the plan is to go London - Portsmouth - Reading - Bristol? Surely London - Reading - Portsmouth - Bristol would make more sense, money wise? Either way is cool
  21. Chris, you were saying it shouldn't be missed. So I said I can't do it as I'm filling in for Mike so that he can ride Andrei's comp. Maybe, next time il be able to make it.
  22. Nevermind, I'm doing a demo tomorrow now, covering for Mike.
  23. I loved that so so so much. It was a real nice touch putting in pic's of Oli and Nick, shame you couldn't get any of Beau, DJ and Janson, but still a superb video.
