  2. I'm should be game, weather dependant.
  3. There the tyres we have been given, though I am after a nobby nic, but there quite pricey. There the tyres we have been given, though I am after a nobby nic, but there quite pricey.
  4. Both Schwalbe, rear is a Big Betty 890g and front is a Al Mighty 1250g - I can't change my tyres as Schwalbe is a team sponsor. I figured that when I searched the net.
  5. I've heard people have been using dremels. Truth be told, I've never used one know what one looks like. I just did a search on google, and there seems to be allsorts of different types. I've just upgraded a few bit's to save wait. Previous: Hope pro 2 front and rear hubs, Echo CNC cranks, 74 kingz bash, 18th surly cog, MAD bar and stem, 74 kingz booster. Now: Rockman front and rear hubs, Try-all cranks with Try-all freewheel, 16th neon cog, Raockman bars, Neon stem, Viz forks ( I technically didn't have any forks before, as they had broken).
  6. I've searched the forum and haven't found anyhelp. I've noticed that lots of people are drilling there frame's and most particularly removing the front face of the head tube. My querey is about the strength of the head tube once this is done and also what tools you would use to make this hole. I understand that by modifying the frame itself there is a risk of it becoming weaker. I'm just curious as to how everyone is doing it, and if it's worth doing.
  7. I bet it ride's like your stock. Complete crap nah, it looks cool, and original with the raceline maggies.
  8. Makes sense, but he still used the wrong image for the Mavic D521 on a king rear hub.
  9. STEALTH Well, obviously where the hubs are instant engagement and are so quiet no-one has heard of them As for the Viz 120ep hub, I've had a look at one, it does seem rediculopus to have a need for 120ep's but I'm sure someone will by one. I didn't get a chance to look at the internals, it seemed like it worked the a pro 2 with the pawls and teeth.
  10. I was around then, I was 6. It is funny, how people think that what we do in trials today is new, when it was being done then. Has anyone seen footage of Hans Rey when he first come about, similar style of bike, less the saddle, but he was doing some serious good stuff.
  11. Nice vid there Steve, it's good to see you still have it.
  12. Maxxis High Roller single ply 2.1 for the front. Schwalbe Big Betty 2.5 for the rear
  13. Looking good Danny. we'll have to get out on a ride soon.
  14. I run 20psi. But after messing around on Brett's Phase this weekend, I'm tempted to run a fair bit less. Mike what ratio are using? Mine's 18:16 and I got a link out, My tensioner is sitting directly below my chainstay, lol. But it works a treat. Paul, my bike isn't like a mountain bike anymore, but you were just jealous, lol.
  15. This prob doesn't help, but I had a creak from my front end recently. I had brand new viz forks, brand new fsa orbit x headset, brand new neon stem and brand new rockman bars. I swapped everything around to see what item it was that was creaking, low and behold I changed the ehadset and it was that that was creaking. No idea as to why it was creaking, but I've kept the old one in with the new parts and it's so quiet. I bought the headset from Chain reaction, so I've e-mailed them asking if they have any idea aboutt he noise. Before anyone says it, I fitted the headset myself, and it was fitted correctly and properly.
  16. what you've written doesn't make sense. You say you've swapped your pro 2 hub for a mono trial. Pro 2 is a hub and mono trial is a disc, so how have you managed to swap your hub for a disc? People can't help you if they can't understand your problem.
  17. was very cold. We ended up going to Aston. I had a great day today, i enjoyed the pallets and riding brakeless alot, lol.
  18. Ofcourse Your gonna say that, lol. Dan I've not used any trialtech parts, though I was looking at them recently, I think they seem pretty good, probably better than most product's.
  19. Doubt it, it never has in the past. But one can only dream, lol. Count me in, as per usual.
  20. Andy, why does your bike look so damn clean, lol. Those rims do look very nice with the silver frame.
  21. I guess it comes with living so close to Wales
  22. what do you mean pressuer crack? I'm riding the Phase 1.2 though I'm currently running the frame, I love it. Referring to Tazzard, your friend I'm assuming is Brett Penfold. At the London cycle show this year, Brett, Patt and myself rode the standard Phase 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 and had no problems riding the rig at all. If your an advanced rider, then you wouldn't be looking at buying a bike aimed at beginners. However if your a beginner, then there are no issues with any of the parts that come with the bikes. I think the 1.2 is a good alround bike as standard, given it comes with Maguras and alloy parts. I believe Waynio did a review on one of the Phase bikes a while ago and he got on with it. Nice short post there and slightly random.
