  1. The new rules make sense, and seem pretty fair. I look forward to hopefully attending this years rounds.
  2. I like that and would happily use it, but the hyphen needs to be between the t and u. t-uk not t u-k it's trials-uk not trials u-k.
  3. No, weather is looking pretty bleak for tomorrow, so think I'l be staying in.
  4. It's between Chichester and Portsmouth, know where near Bournemouth Steve.
  5. No worries, but cheers for the info. Any idea where in Belgium it is?
  6. do you need a 2009 biu license to get the uci license? I've not sent off for this years biu yet, was gonna do it this week. Also anyone have any more info on the event? Scott how you getting there? If your in the mini van, you got any space?
  7. thanks guys, thats a real help. I wasn't gonna do anything about it, as I didn't think there was anything to do about it. I think i'l go to the bank and speak to them, see what they say, as if it is a case that he's broken the law by withdrawing money without my consent and also keeping my bank details. Then i'm sure the bank will do something about it and or suggest going to the police or who ever.
  8. That is a said thing to hear of, especially as you don't live in the UK. I've had many dealings with Dan and now refuse to have more with him. Many a time I've been with him or got on the phone to him and had right go at him to make sure people get there orders sorted. My last dealing with him was back in September 2008. I went to his shop, with intentions to buy some nice new parts. I had about £300 to spend, as soon as I started to talk about the parts I wanted, that was it. It went off on one, suggesting all these parts, basically being a salesman, however when I said to know to certain parts, he wouldn't take no as an answer. This is what Dan is like, no matter how much you refuse he still ends up talking you round. I ended up spending £480, which I couldn't afford right there, so he made me a deal that I pay half then, and the rest the following month, and I also had to help him build a bike and wheels that was being collected later that day. When it comes to bike building and wheel buiding, I have basic qualifications from Halfords for bike building and maintenance. But I do know how to how to build wheels, I've always built my own wheels. Dan on the other hand as far as I'm aware has no qualifications for bike building/maintenance/servicing or wheel building. Anyway, I built the bike whilst Dan went off to do my invoice, he came back with the invoice finished but the price had risen to £520 because he had previously guessed the prices of the parts I was now buying. He told me there was nothing he could do, so I went with it. I finished the wheel builds and went home. The following month he consistantly phoned me for me to make the remaining payment, but due to all this issues on here about people being owed refunds and parts, I refused to pay him untill all of his customers had all there orders sorted. He went with that, and the following month contacted me again for payment, he claimed that everyone was all sorted, he did make comments about everyone else orders having nothing do with me, which is true. But he can't treat customers like he has, so If he wanted my money he was gonna have to sort them out first. On this occassion I told him I could again only pay half, I told him I couldn't afford to pay it all. Truth be told, I didn't believe he had sorted everyone out. We agreed that I would now pay the final £100 the next month, which was December. The day came and he didn't contact me, I didn't contact him either, as there were more issues with him again on here. A few days later I checked my account to see that he had taken the £100 out of my account. Now that to me is theft, though it was agreed that I would pay on December 20th, payment would be made by me giving him my card details over the phone, not Dan processing the payment without my knowledge. If people are having problems with getting hold of Dan, then e-mail me as I do have 2 mobile numbers for him. One should be his current shop number and the other his personal number. This may help some people. All Dan seems to be in it for is money, not customer service. If people insist on buying from him, then expect dissappointment.
  9. Hey all, as title says, I fancy riding somewhere this weekend, but noticed there are no southern rides on, was just wandering what the locals are upto and if they fancy a ride somewhere.
  10. Sorry to hear that Rob, Dan is completely useless. In my experience, the only way to get what you want from t-uk is to physically go to his shop and buy it. That way you'll get what you want and will get there and then. but in all fairness Rob, you should have gone to another online retailer.
  11. I'd avoid Paypal if I was you Luke, seems to be the case now that for every payment you recieve Paypal take a percentage, it's not alot, but if enough people donate through Paypal, then they'll be making a lil sum out of it. I'd personally rather give you cash or bank transfer. When you wanting donations by?
  12. This morning I got both my bikes out the garage, but was unable to ride either, as both the rear brakes were frozen. I do run a water bleed - though I have added anti-freeze to one, and shall see tomorrow whether it worked or not. Original magura blood and any other mineral oil shouldn't freeze. Both my front brakes are Hope mono trial with Dot 5.1 fluid, again should never freeze from UK weather.
  13. Maybe so, but given that all stations in the region show where there are engineering works for the weekend, it does state that bulky luggage, pushchairs and cycles will not be taken on replacement buses. So If you get to Barnham, the bus driver has every right to refuse your bike. So just be prepared, this has happened to me a few times before, and since then I don't bother travelling when buses are involved, unless I can go a different way and avoid the bus or I'm 100% positive that I'l get my bik on the bus.
  14. Just to let anyone whos' travelling from Southampton, Eastleigh and Portsmouth areas to Worthing. There are no trains running betwen Barnham and Angmering, there are replacement buses running between these stations. Chances are you wont get your bike on the bus. Just thought I'd let you all know.
  15. The riding was good, you've got some ability, but the music was fowl and the video was crap. What's the shite at the end, and touching some guy's head. I could understand it if you were like 5 yrs old, but your not, though you seem to have the maturity of a 5 yr old.
  16. Kyle was telling yesterday about the banning. Dear oh dear. How come your aloud back? Best place would be Brum, though Coventry aint bad. Derby is crap and Nottingham was only good when slab square was there.
  17. COD 1-5 *How can I get a picture in my gamertag avatar?
  18. I will also try and find some festive decoration for my bike.

They are both funny, but this one will make you cringe. Ouch!
  20. Dan, thanks for the PM. I have got to say that your ghostie was hilarious, and the stoppie to closing the car door was classic. I do have to say though, that for me was probably the most inspiring video of the year. It was so typically you Dan, chilled out, relaxed, fluid and technical made simple. There was some techniques that really impressed me, like your sidehop from 2 wheels, from both your left and right. Also you pedal bridge pedal tap on those steps, when you were track standing I would have bet my life that you were gonna do pedal hop over gap to back wheel then upto front on the wheel. How worng was I, you kept me guessing and it was great. I really enjoyed that Dan Thanks for some quality entertainment and inspiration.
  21. It's the correct way round, though your post is completely off topic.
  22. Andrew, have tried Brett and Craig. If you PM your no, I'l forward it on to them if you like. I'd be well up for a ride up there but maybe in the spring.
  23. I'm in Jon, but your topic title is 2008, jus a lil note, lol. I always love this ride, it's ashame about the circumstances, but I'm sure DJ is up there enjoying the view of us riding in his memory. As will all the friends we have lost over the past year or so. Great idea Jon, bit early mind, but atleast it'll be well planned.
  24. Mike, what you doing in Bournemouth? Where abouts was it when it was stolen? I'l keep an eye out and get mates to look to. Sorry to hear about it being stolen, hope you get it back.
  25. Have a good one. I gotta go shoping with the gf this weekend.
