  1. He's gonna love you Chris, lol. I saw Jack Meek earlier, he seems pretty excitied about Soton. I think he's just been gagging to get out and ride. See you all sunday.
  2. we are there on behalf of 2x2 limited and Land Rover bikes. As Mark said, the whole point of our area is to get people interested into trials and if they fancy it have a go, doesn't matter if there 10 or 60. Then we have the phase bikes there as that is our own brand and is produced by 2x2, so anyone wanting to ride the course has to ride a phase. Cheers to Jo for letting us have a free for all session with your riders yesterday, was a good laugh. This was my first time at the London cycle show and I found it to be interesting, it did seem quite basic, but then its not ment to like the bike show with alsorts of entertainment. I think it has been pretty good. Anyone that does go, check out the 24ct gold bike, now that seems pointless. But if you get a chance too, find the continental stand and see if the continental girl is about. She is too good to be true.
  3. I write this whilst sat on a coach back to Bournemouth from London, and I can say that i'm f****d. The cycle Show has been hard work, and I feel the day to recover is in order (this also makes me look good to the fiancee, by not going riding). But to any riders going to Soton on sunday, I shall see you there.
  4. Ross, if you book now, you can get a single train ticket to Newton Abbot and a single back to Reading for quite cheap. I'm looking at doing that, well a single from Kent to there and a single back to Bournemouth. Only problem is that to get there for 11:30, the closet train arrives into Newton Abbot at like mid-night, so ideally to find somewhere to crash. Plus, the comp is about a 10 mile ride from the station. If your up for it, i'l travel down with you from Reading, then if someone could put us up for the night, and possibly give us a lift to the comp or if someone could pick us up, then we'd be sorted. An idea on the train price, for an advance ticket from Kent with a young persons railcard, will cost me £24.50, from Reading I think it was around £18.
  5. Just remembered I'm in Kent the day before, so we'll have to see what I can do.
  6. I may come up, not ridden Soton in years.
  7. I start my new job Monday, so once I get paid I start getting lessons and take my test's. I've been having lessons with Sian's mum recently.
  8. I wanna come to this, just working on the gf for a lift.
  9. We'll have to arrange something soon, maybe a session in Bristol and then Newport?
  10. I wont be coming now, bike needs a good sort out. It got pretty wrecked from the comp yesterday.
  11. I wasn't saying that you have to do oe style of trials riding, I was just simply stating that there seems to be 3 styles of riding. As you well know, Andy and Dave, I don't ride one style, I vary across all 3 too. Like Spaceman said, if your using your bike to get over obstacles, who cares how you did it. It's the fact that you made an achievement by getting over the obstacle on your bike.
  12. That's quite late, how long do you reckon you'll be out till?
  13. I am tempted by this, will have to see. Got a few things to do around the house first. Depends on weather and how long your gonna be out for, as I doubt I'd be in till 2ish at a push.
  14. I'm aiming to come, but depends when I'm back from the cycle show. I do fancy a good session in Pompey, I think it's due.
  15. Tis indeed Rob, finger's crossed for better weather eh.
  16. I agree. In my opinion, there's 3 styles of trials. Comp, TGS and street (as in lines that are linked with manuels and the like) If your into the whole TGS style of riding then your probably not going to enjoy Danny's video, which is fair, as its not to your taste. Same as Danny, he ride's street because he enjoys it, I imagine he has very little interest in TGS or comp style, as that probably doesn't give him any inspiration. Eveyone's different, but were all riding the same sport so there's know need for harsh or negative comments.
  17. I was impressed with your riding today Andy. Well done for your 3 on a section. That's cool your gonna do the whole season next year, I can see your riding improving considerably over the next season.
  18. Dave, is it possible for me to enter? Ifso, is it too late to download the entry form and post it in? Cheers Nick
  19. Luke, it's pissing it down here. It's horrible. As I don't live far from Bransgore, It's safe to say that it's gonna be very messy tomorrow, but still fun. Now know backing out because the rain people.
  20. Yeah I am, take it you'll be there.
  21. Poole tonight, 6:30pm falkland sqaure.
  22. I'm gonna give it a miss now, maybe another time Dan.
