  3. I measured 3.83" the other day. Boredom mag definitely started a new trend.
  4. Undrilled rim: 790g normal rim tape: 20g drilled rim: 610g duct tape to cover holes: 25g You do the math!
  5. I had a 28mm Mavic and a 38mm DX32 in my Ali Bongo. Both fit fine. With a V-brake that is. I'd go with a stem that is about 15°x100mm. Maybe a bit shorter if you like it streety. 5° will definitely be too low, because of the bb rise. Unless you're a fan of super low bars :)
  6. Did I remove the pins that hold the rim together, or what? :D Seriously, one small hole for the valve won't make a difference.

  8. Fair enough. I snapped several Kool chains, but never at the split link.
  9. Use the split link. The one coming with the kool chain is strong. Put it on the other way round, then it doesn't rub on the bash.
  10. What 16" of snow, a drill, a file and boredom can do to your rim:
  11. I put washers between chainring and bash, because I had the same problem. Works fine since April.
  12. Drops are pointless and kill you and your bike. :'(
  13. When you pedal, you tighten it. Counterclockwise to unscrew it.
  14. 1060 is the perfect allround length. Can't go wrong.
  15. Windows Media Encoder for top quality and small file size :P

    New Bt Video

Thanks for the comments! It's the following: XTR lever, Ritchey Pro Logic brake arms, XTR booster, white Heatsinks :P, Nokon housing. And a ground DX32.
  17. Cable stops for me. But I run a full length liner with my Nokons so it's still sealed against all crap that tries to get inside my cables. It saves a lot of weigth, too. :P

  19. Yes, and they both suck compared to proper pads like CRV or Heatsink.
