You will save the most weight on the wheels. Change rims for Inspired Team or Spank Race 33 with double butted spokes. This will give you -790g. Tubolito -200g. Truvativ Descendant/Sram GX DUB Cranks -500g. Easy to buy second hand.

Does anyone use a quick link on a KMC Z1EHX chain?
-
I had such a case with an enduro bike. After the accident, my stem started cracking. Additionally, he was able to loosen up. The longer I rode it, the greater the looseness appeared. It is 6061 aluminum so it can "stretch" not break. Nothing is eternal.

Mine has the same amount of time and I also ride twice a week.🙄

How long have you been riding with this chain?
-
All parts in Extention are good. I have many bikes. And unfortunately, given the choice, I will never choose horizontal dropouts. The chain will always be looser somewhere and tighter somewhere. When changing the inner tube (which often happens in this sport), you must align the wheel with the brake. Changing the wheel is faster with vertical dropouts. Edith has MT5 on the rear, not MT2. https://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/200045-chain-tension-on-horizontal-dropouts/#comment-2720990

I wouldn't worry about the hubs on these bikes. Here you have a bike at a similar price, but a higher model. Personally, I'm not a fan of horizontal dropouts. Extention Edith Look here too: biketrial.si

I once installed a Magura lever. But I wasn't satisfied with it. I bought the entire MT2 brake with Jitsie pads and it works great.
-
Tires purchased and installed. So far, three rides in poor conditions. And I am very satisfied. Wet grip seems to be better than the Holy Roller. Weight 595g and 614g. They are thinner than Holy Roller but it doesn't bother me yet. I'm waiting for dry conditions.

Two tubolito tubes save 250g. 250g for £50 is not a high price I think.
-
No problems with tubolito. I use the BMX version with a copper valve.

What is your experience with carbon handlebars? This year I saw two broken Extention handlebars. Both ridden for the first year. I see that a lot of people ride with Comas handlebars. How about their durability? How often do you replace them with new ones? It would be nice to have light handlebar but also all teeth

What HS33 calipers do you recommend? Magura or Echo?
Szymon replied to La Bourde's topic in Trials Chat
I had an Echo and they started leaking. No problems with Magura. Echo are actually lighter and shorter. -
Dual Compound. Wet tarmac and concrete.
-
How about grip? Especially when it's cold or wet? With Holy Roller and tubolito I run at 45PSI pressure all the time.
-
I see more and more people riding on Maxxis Rekon 24x2.20 tyres. Can any user comment on them? Compare it to Holy Roller?

The cheapest M6100 Deore. One more thing. The clamp is in the center of the pump. My handlebar is shortened and the lever almost doesn't fit. The clamp falls out when bending.

Shigura is very strong. However the brake lever is very spongy. I had one day and went back to MT5 with HC3. The question is what kind of brake lever feel does Marco like?

What do you think about this topic? Model year and weight did you get? Maybe a photo too?

Diameter is the same. Only the shape is different.
