  3. what do you lot think about the onza citrus pads? i got some for free along with a few other bits as a kinnda "compensation" for a mess up with an order. ive got them on my bike at the moment with a smooth rim, i cant praise them enough! i love them. any one else think there brilliant? any other pads better for a smooth rim?
  4. best way imo is keep riding, it hurts for a little while but soon you forget about it. same with aching muscles and sprains etc..
  5. shouldnt make any difference at all if the brakes bleed properly...
  6. i wouldnt get your hopes up with that mate, i went to the princes trust with a spot on business plan and all the figures, cash flow, profit and loss tables. and they knocked all my prices down, ended up borrowing me half of what i wanted to borrow! also if thers alot of competition or they think it will not be sucessfull they wont fund you at all, because at the end of the day, if you cant afford to pay them back, its them that looses out
  7. supercycles did exactly that with my t master rear wheel last week, sent it to the wrong address!
  8. where can i find the others? cancel that, found them
  9. we used to ride every day without fail... then it kinnda died out after 3 years.. but hey, we got bikes again and its all starting again now hope to get out atleast 4 days a week, even if its just an hour a nite.
  10. a cassete wheel is a hub with built in "freewheel" if you like... you just put on which size sporkects really...
  11. dont think all pedals are rebuildable? also i imagine some will be different, different size bearings etc pedals are so cheap these days i prob wouldnt bother
  12. same as me not 100% confident and the aches are painfull lol oh and it dosent help when u have a bruise on the top half of your leg thats around 7" long! feels like a constant dead leg
  13. aye martin fricker i believe. thats anchent, 5/6 years old........
  14. mines driving me instaine, i set it all up using them washers provided to get the disk sitting perfectly between the 2 pads, all was good for around 10 min of riding then there was a costant horrible noise (kinnda like a rim with tar on and brakes rubbing) and the wheel quite stiff to move, so again i set it back up and perfect... for another 10 min, so last nite when i came home i took a while lining it back up and gettin it working, today went out, 15 min it was spot on, then again rubbing making a very annoying loud constant noise! so yet again i adjusted it, and same story... ive not gave in and called it a day. any one got any ideas how to set the stupid thing up? its very annoying, ive got a feeling its something to do with the automatic pad ware adjustment!
  15. i used to do moto trials but only got out once or twice a month, i seen a guy round my area doing bike trials and thought to my self that would be quite cool, do bike trials when i cant do moto trials... so i bought a saracen!! use it for about 8 months, loved it, sold the motorbike and bought a echo ES3 and a sexy spec to match it all started from there, and since that ive had 7 bikes
  16. can pedal kick easy etc, can do most things i could just no where near as big. and today, im aching like mad LOL!
  17. used to use tar 2 years or so ago now im running onza citrus pads on a smooth rim, excellent imo

  19. well today i rode for my 1st time in over 2 years, road for around 2 hours, im totally nackrered, balance is all to pot, cant backwheel things properly and to top it off i nearly killed my self lmao! hope this all comes back to me soon (at least i can still do some things) but jesus!
  20. just checked them on the inside, thers pretty much no axel sticking throung when on the inside so the frame is pretty much resting on the bolts, so it looks likes they gonna ave to be on the outside
  21. does it matter which side of the frame you put them? should they be outside the frame on on the inside?
  22. ahh your on about the pedal thread... thought yous were on about the freewheel thread.. but still... surely if the pedals are installed correctly and tightened up they wouldn't strip out???
