no problem in doing this matey, but it just means that your front end will be heavier making it harder to throw about and also they effect your balancing whilst standstill! personally i would go for a nice set of rigid forks as i rode rock shock sidehop air forks back about 5 years ago and back then everyone was riding shocks, but these days its more along the rigid setup!

i would start off ona 20" bike personally mate. they are generally cheaper and easier to go smaller on then when you progress to a further stage upgrade to a 26" bike. i really like the zoo python 20" bike matey, but this is all depending on your budget! otherwise i would have a look at a few onza 20" bikes.

thats your best bet mate. give them a test in the dry and see what they perform like, if they aren't up to standards then you can always give them a grind later! personally i prefer a smooth rim on a four bolt setup, but grinded rims these days are gtting better and better once worn in! and my favourite setup of all is a solid grind on plazmatic crm pads with a little tuch of tar its unbeatable!!

the zoo rides nicely matey they are a big difference in the frames from back int he days where the bottom brackets were on the floor! i just upgraded from a brisa b26d to a GU Typhoon and it plays such a difference in the way you ride! the echo rides quite easily its a very basic ride where you can do near enough everythign niecly, but the zoo has the "X factor" for me. One of my favourite 26" frames to ride has got to be the ashton Justice matey they are very easy to ride, so i thought i might mention it as you might not have considered one of them!

i ended up purchasing koxx red pads! they work pretty well so far bit of monty brake spray and i was away! i think ill put a order in for plazmatic crm pads also!

Hello everyone i have just purchased a new GU Typhoon frame with a grinded rear try all rim and was just wondering what pads you would reccomend i always used to ride plazmatic pads but tarty bikes dont have ny in stock at the moment, so im looking for a good set after a gap to wall ended up in me on my back on the side of the wall dying slowly!! so is there any personal favourites? cheers James

Dunno about any of you but i did recognise that Mr Craig Lee Scott was present in the sun newpaper today deemed as a "Clever Clogs" with a nice picture of him doing what he does best, thats is pedal brake along a nice railing! has anyone got any recommendations on a tyre with a strong sidewall as i got a set of hot s tyres and the sidewalls are poo on them to be honest, they tear very quick if you miss the side of a wall. Cheers James

ini lankyrick i have been down the hospital all hours of the day sorting it out with her making sure she gets all the compensation she deserves for her injuries, she is getting better guys thank god she is home but she is still straped to a board and full of braces to keep her neck supported she says now that her back is hurting which aint good meaning she cant move at all. anyone crashed ??? yesterday an illegal immigrant flew through a red light and smashed into my modified show car worth over 19k doing approx 45mph. He has no insurance tax mot or even a driving license, so i cant get the car replaced as for injuries my girl friend is still in hospital with fractured virtibrae bones in her neck and i have severe back whip lash. angry aint the word here is a pic of the car before it was smashed up

no time for boasting dude just ride and enjoy it before you get too old. well thats how i see it i just love getting out in the sun and just riding from 9 in the morning till 1 the following morning.

i use two wheels and i have improved no end. easiest to learn on a cylinder shape object as you can learn to get the bike high on two wheels with your body in the right shape plus cylinders are more forgiving.

silly question dude. never ride without a helmet. none of my mates see me without my helmet on so when we go out they say they cant recognise me as they never see me without the helmet on like. no matter what your riding capabilities are you should always wear one buddy. the stronger ones are the bmx style ones also known as piss pots (Y) , but i ride just a general met helmet, as always check that the helmet has reached british standards otherwise it ll be a lot weaker when knocked.
