  1. So, if we didn't have Religion, Capitalism or Communism what would we be living in? A world of tree huggers and f**king do gooders? At least Religion gives some purpose to some people lives. Just like Trials is giving most of the people on here purpose in their lives. For some of you to slag of Religion of is amazing. "ooh but Religion has caused this that and the other and all these problems blah blah blah" We cause problems to listed walls outside St. Pauls Cathedral, like big chinks in the walls from bashguards. I myself am a Catholic. I am a real educated Catholic. I'm not about to start preaching or forcing you to "convert" or what have you, I'm not a saint either (Lisa in Browns *strip club in City of London* will tell you that..... What a night!) So when people start talking bullshit it gets on my nerves.
  2. I try not to get into Religious debates for the simple reason that the majority don't care about Religion and slag it off as much as they can or they say quite ridiculous things about it. (Not good if you like a debate... (Y)" ) RIP
  3. Hell no. The Milleniums are probably the best fork Mani ever made. Get some machined seal upgrades and get em serviced PROPERLY.

    Bird Flu

I read that the current bird flu situation has been going on since 1997. It's been covered up. The reason it's been spreading is because the Governments in that part of the world don't give a crap - it's too heavily populated, most are below poverty line and live with their f**king birds in their living rooms. What they need to do is cull a few birds, quarantine the populace and CLEAN UP THE BIRD SHIT. :o

    10 Ghz Pc

It doesn't matter what I did for them, I don't work for them anymore  I'm completely unbiased. I think the PS2 is a dodgy piece of equipment. The dreamcast was a far more advanced machine (don't argue the case - it's a well known fact. It was too ahead of its time and flopped accordingly. People simply weren't ready for it.) I just got myself a nice Sony LCD (for a good price of course), and hey presto the UK PS2 won't hook up via component (as slightly expected) and all the leads I've tested for an RGB scart hookup look dreadful. I hook up a US X-box via component, give out a nice 600 odd progressive scan and it's a dream. I actually hate Sony*. (N)" :) *not really

    10 Ghz Pc

Forget about PC's for a second. X-Box 2 - THREE 3.0ghz Power PC processors PS3 - ONE 4.06ghz processor that can shift 100gb per second  EDIT - games producers favor the PS3 because it makes the Xbox 2 (now named X-box 360) look like a NES. I know because I work for Sony (Y)"
  7. Feck I wish I was good enough to go, I'd feel like a pleb if I went.... I'd just film and booze....
  8. I'm coming. :S Quit my football team, so will ride alot more now.
  9. I live right near battersea park, If I'd have known this earlier I'd have come too. Next time.....
  10. You can't EDIT dv footage via USB. You might get away with getting some sub-standard VCD quality footage off the tape, but you might sacrifice audio. You need a Firewire connection to edit DV footage in all quality levels (i.e. basic VCD up to true DV quality)
  11. A while back you said you could drill and grind a Phatso rim I have knocking about. But now I know you'll be getting the Hope trials hub.... I was wondering if you can still do it for me but give us a build onto the new hope hub when it comes out. (for a nominal fee of course!) (mod can lock this topic upon reply) Cheers
  12. Right, end of month will purchase. Will also put in appearances on rides, need to do some more riding and get a bit better. Cheers
  13. I've got a michelin comp 24, but it's bald as a monk now. I'm looking for something wider with the same antipinch, (never ever had a flat on the rear with it) so I don't want to go with less. I've never put any research into a decent rear tyre, what is recommended....?
  14. I care about this sort of thing. But I won't be bothered about doing something about it until the goverments of these countries are removed. Prime example - Swaziland. Severe poverty. Prime minister went out and bought himself a £250,000 fully equiped Bentley. Now, until this sort of thing is prevented, "Band Aid" can forget about my money. you're wasting your time. Before the benefit is seen by the people who need it, it is taken by the government, who control the corrupt police who in turn control the borders - where the "aid" is stolen from the Aid workers.

    "real" Trials

So? He's a British and World Champ, (unless I'm much mistaken), therefore he must be doing something right.........

    "real" Trials

What I think is happening is that Trials is starting to "branch off" into it's various forms, much the same way BMX did in the 80s. People bought BMXes, things were learned, things started to happen (i.e. Vert, Street, Flatland) but this wasn't an overnight development, it took years for bikes and riders to evolve. The same thing is happening in trials. You know it's happening when a 26/20 frame is developed and marketed as Street, Comp etc, riders complaining their frame is too long/too short/wrong geometry for what they want to do blah blah you can see where I'm going...... I think the friction that we see nowadays between riders is "teething problems" with this evolution. This isn't their fault, it's just riders with their once unified opinion now seperating, and it's this difference of opinion that we cannot avoid. The sport is getting bigger, it will peak some day just like BMX has, and one day we will all be on individual bikes doing individual but different things and we will all come together again and all will be calm (lol)
  17. My, after reading that superb review, I feel compelled to go out and buy some :( How long did you ride them for? Half an hour?
  18. www.curtisbikes.co.uk I've just looked on the trials frame section. "Coming Soon...Redesigned T1 frame with shorter back end and low standover, avaliable in 3 different length options. Also new T24 24" wheel specific Street Trials frame & forkset. Watch this space..." Does anyone here have any info on the new T1 before I e-mail them for some?
  19. Just go for it, the older they are the more learned they'll be. I bet she could teach you a thing or two, then you can wow all the fine honeys with your newly aquired sexual powers. It worked for me (Not that I've banged a 48 year old, mine was a fair bit younger and quite fit actually)
  20. Right. Keep a bit of steerer and stack it up for the height. Easton EA70 high risers and one of the new Thomson Elite pinch bolt stems at 90mm.
  21. If you bolt the tool in place so it has NO movement and you keep untightening, you will smash up the cup. So you have to free up the cup a little and take the bolt out and continue from there. And please ingore my mistakes in the last posts, according to Danslicktrix you untighten towards the handlebar....... I'm not having a good day :)
  22. My mistake, forgot an "un" infront of "tighten" then and if you are going to undo non driveside first, DO NOT bolt the tool inplace, otherwise you will destroy everything.
  23. Get some washers, use a crankbolt and bolt the tool in place. Get a breaker bar and correct sized spanner cup. Remember, you tighten towards the handlebars, so you need to go the other way.
  24. I picked up a CK ISO rear hub today, and I wondered how long it would take to break it..... "light is was"
