Hi I have a dilemma on my hands. I had my heart set on buying a rear chris king hub for my birthday in a few months time. I had heard about everyone raving about the t-rex/longer frames in general and today I rode one. I currently ride a Levelboss 1040 with a hope XC rear hub with a King headset. I now cannot decide what to do buy a king, buy a long frame, sell some stuff to buy other stuff (Y) I really am not sure. I think the frame would improve my riding more but I had really wanted the rear king. Any comments would be welcome. Now to explain some options I have thought of Buying a long frame ie Cosust,Zoo,T-Rex,Control XTP Also buying a Vinco has tempted me alot as well or the tartybikes proto if/when it comes out. I can sell all my frame,headset and wheel buy a new T-Rex and king, or sell frame and buy the vinco keeping rear wheel. Theres so many options. Any comments welcome or more suggestions as what to do are welcome. Thanks Nick P.S it made sense in my head not sure if it does on paper :(

Sorry to steal thread sort of but its on the subject of fans. Is it possible to get like 5 fans put in computer, get a fan controller and say run them at 2500rpm when running normally with progs open, and then turn them down to say 1000rpm so they are virtually silent with just bitsprit open or something so it doesnt make any noise?

Well Ive got a Ti bash that I would swap for yours as I dont have any money at the moment, but how much you looking to sell for?

Can you still get the old style bashes that are good for getting lathed down as I dont want the new one due to the middle being scooped and that way it cant be lathed down for 20T chainring.

Ive got a hope XC its coming up to being two years old :( and Its only skipped about 5 times. Deffinatly a good hub, Ive heard of many Bulbs blowing up. Theres about 3 hubs I would use to ride trials personally: Hope XC Hope Mono Chris King Thats about all the hubs you need.

Hi I was running 16-14 = 1.14 and then decided to go to 16-13 = 1.23 What advantages are there of going to a higher gear?

I have Norton System works and its not that bad at speeding it up, I just use the de-frag thing with it. But the new microsoft anti spyware beta thing is very good, you can get it from Here It will remove spyware which will speed up your pc. Also stopping programs running that you dont need will also help. In the run dialog, use type in msconfig, if your not a confident windows user or services.msc (i think) if you are, and turn off a few things that you dont use.

It looks real nice, I guess high bb's are now the way forward for trials as the Vinco has had good stuff about it and now this. Looks like my money is already spoken for in the coming months.

They might be, you never know. Also that way it wouldnt be biased with all the CLS legion/followers just voting for him as people who read MBUk or something wouldnt like just one rider or anything they would most likly vote for the best video. Its just an idea but the whole 2 days filming and 1 week to edit is cool and the rest of the "day in the city" idea.

Thats a very good idea, maybe we should e-mail MBUK or something as thats a magazine thats well known. We could give away the videos on a DVD or something then the readers of the magazine could vote? Worth a try e-mailing a magazine like that or something. EDIT : Or someone could talk to Extreme as I remember their homegrown season thing, they could possibly be talked into something.

Nope that didnt work for me. The two games I want to do it with are NFSU2 and THUG2

I say keep it the same way with rounds, but only have 4 rounds, so if theres alot of entries then its one big final in the end. Also if you had 1 week for the first round so people can get all the videos, then have 2 days for the remaining 3 rounds, so it would last under 2 weeks.

So should we name a date now so every one has time to make a video and the organisers (whoever that might be) have time to organise? as I would say half term after easter hols is long enough time to make a video and arrange everything.

Does anyone know how to make full screen apps, like games run in a window. It can be done on Half Life 2 in the menu but there are other games I want to play in a window as well that dont have the option in the menu. OR does anyone know of a program that can force the games to run in a window?
