If you want to save weight (If that's what you meant?) and increase grip, you can cut the marked knobbles off. Did it to mine, shit is pure win. Super grippy now, and sheds mud really nicely too. With the Try-All front, Ali's cut his so that it was like this - it also appears to be all good. So yeah, do that if you want to save weight and make your tyres even grippier. Regarding clearance, it's kinda weird but it's almost like the Montys have the extra width lower down the tyre, so they have a wider base for the tread to sit on (making it more stable and better bounce wise too), so the extra width isn't really noticeable at the top, where you're going to have less clearance - if that makes sense. So yeah, if you can fit a 2.5" alright then you can fit the Eagle Claw.

I've got an Eagle Claw on the rear of my mod. Pure win. Would prefer a Try-All up front, but I've got a Creepy Crawler on at the mo, but yeah, a Monty rear/Try-All front combo is basically the best setup you can get.

My bars are 38" so it's at least that No idea how flexy it is without the booster, sorry. I just banged the booster straight on and my brake dominates, which is pretty handy. Should be reasonably stiff though, 'cos those built-in booster/plates should work pretty well. I'd still recommend a booster with it though, just to try and make sure it lasts a bit longer and doesn't crack round the 4-bolt mounts. 1025-ish, I think? I'll double check later on for you. OBM

when we met him, he tried to run away, Joel wrestled him to the ground and got him in some crazy headlock. Ric managed to bite Joel, so Mark came over and whipped out his baseball bat and gave him a couple of hits. Ric was still fighting so I got out my tazer and rendered him asleep. We then strolled off with the bike. OR WHAT REALLY HAPPENED As Ric walked up with the bike, Joel went over and asked to look at it. He then passed it to me and I made sure it was all the same and not broken. When I was satified, I said "Hi, I am Ali, this is my bike and I'll be taking it now". he said "oh,...hi. Sorry, I was still trying to get the bike back to you" WHAT A LOAD OF SHITE! I told him I was pissed off with him and then left. Shame I am £50 out on fuel though

good news everyone! I now have the bike back. Mark made a fake email account and posed as a buyer. We arranged a time and place to meet in London and drove down yesterday (4 hours each way!). Lets just say he didn't put up a fight.

From what Ali's said, the police say it's a Paypal issue, and Paypal say there isn't an issue because it got cancelled...

This guy's a total f**kend. There's other stuff that's gone on with him too, constant lies, etc. Blacklisting's too good for him... Rusevelt - he lives in London. Ali sent him a proper letter, special delivery (so we know he got it) saying he had 14 days to give him either the bike or money or he'd take legal action. That time's up. EDIT: By OBM!

police wont touch it as "its a paypal issue" and paypal are about as helpful as a chocolate teapot. I would rather not go and get it, as far as I know he may have a knife or a gun (yay for media telling me everyone in London carry them!). I have his address, phone number, proof of postage, all paypal transactions, all emails so I have a pretty strong case for the courts. The annoying thing is, he is trying to sell the bike for over £200 more than I sold it to him, lying in the description and even using the same photos I sent him.

Ok, to the senior members this is old news, but I wanna spread the word a little now. To keep it short, Ric Herr.Wolfkatze attempted to buy my inspired bike off me. We agreed on a price and I sent the bike down to him. I then found the Paypal payment he sent me got cancelled from his end, leving me with no bike and no money. This was about 3 months ago now and he keeps comming up with excuses. I then got linked to a gumtree advert that he put up trying to sell my bike! I am currently in the middle of sorting out paperwork to use in court. This is just a warning really, avoid him at all costs.

I had a great time. I knew I couldnt get q good overall position due to missing so many rounds, so I just let myself have a laugh in the sections, trying wheelies and no strato dabs. This meant my score was pretty shocking, but it didn't bother me. Thanks for everyones help in the series, especially Barbara! Breaking an ankle while setting sections is commitment!

This guy wins. I wore those gloves a few years ago for a good few winters and they were sweet. Only just started wearing out now, and they're about 4 years old. They tore through at the tip of my left index finger, but that's it. They're super good gloves. OBM!

Hey, yeah sorry for any inconvenience, we still had orders from the weekend that needed to get sent! we thought it best not to answer the phone for an hour and get down and dirty with the orders. You'll be happy to know that we are now back on top of the order and the phones will be answered as normal.

just got back now, I am pretty tired after those long sections! I thought they were good though, I had a bit of a mixed ride, sometimes good, sometimes bad. But I am happy with 3rd place and 2nd overall in Britain!
