Its all about still having a seat on a bike. Why in gods name wouldn't you want one? Is it so you can suck up more when you hop, or so that your legs don't hit it when riding. Get the v12's they have lasted me 2 years and are still going VERY strong. Forget what anyone else says get v12's they don't fall apart like the others they are sh*t strong. But in the end its your choice, but as the grass is green get v12's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if u have time on your hands try this. Get a brand new stanley knife blade in a and then start to cut vertical lins in the rim. I find it last around a year is better than a grind and isn't to harsh on the pads. I love it but try what u think is best.
