  1. Meet around 10 o clock, ride till 4ish. Hodges is coming as well
  2. Fluo rims look tacky IMO. They look plastic, if you know what I mean. An anodized green and anod. pink rim from Try-all would've looked heaps better than the ugly powdercoated blinding-fluo ones. Black rims and green tape would look much better on that python.
  3. Ah I remember those forks so well Good to hear that you ride regularly with Joe. He told me something was up with the BB threads, that it jammed halfway or something, It is rather frustrating! Meh, re-chasing the threads in the frame and a fresh BB should sort it
  4. I don't ever let a bikeshop touch or even dare to keep my bike for 'a few days'. I don't trust them one bit, for obvious reasons. So I do all of my servicing by myself, or for the tricky stuff, get a trusted friend who works in a bikeshop to do it on the spot, or at his place. What the topic starter posted is quite typical of several bikeshops, as they don't give a shit about customer's bikes, and just want to take it easy themselves. (some places are an exception however) In most shops' cases, I'd rather throw my bike down a set of stairs then let them keep it in their 'workshop' for a few days.
  5. Looks nice, a bit over done with the pedals... but it's OK. I would've thought you'd be happy enough already with your XTP and Echo... Man, 3 bikes, all worth a good grand and a bit, each.
  6. I really like the XTP, especially with red stickers, for some reason or other. Losing the pink grips would make it look even better. What's the serial number anyway? Would be interesting to know how far the XTP's have been made.

I have been asked to come along several times by Hodges, but the prices might end up rather steep! Joe (Elding), if you're going by car, would it be possible to give me and Hodges a lift? We'd be willing to contribute a bit towards petrol etc. and maybe a few bits and bobs in return for the favour? Accomodation-wise, will there be a designated campsite nearby where the morning-meetups/main action is? Paying for a hotel/motel might be rather schtoight on the pocketbook. Dam, Hodges gets his own little team members area for accomodation, dam him!

You've got to be having a kiddy laugh Porter... 1700 euros for a frame . I do quite like the Karbon frame, and the look of the long XTP mod.
  9. Samara.. that sounds familiar Ah yes, Nikita is from there! The guy on the A3? Tell him I say hi. The riding was good, but the music was
  10. You mean the more 'badass' stickers, Ah, I remember that frame, was in my house... like, a week ago Glad you like it.
  11. Sounded fun . Bessell trying a flair? . I'm assuming the indoor area had some sort of a halfpipe/quarterpipe? That is pretty gutsy, how close did you come?
  12. Yeah that is infact true, as KOXX-UK just said. That is why Koxx-One unicycles are starting to be equipped with 24 butterfly pedals and the cockring clamp: The pedals would have been good on trials bikes, except for the fact that they literally fall apart quite easily. Xavier Collos, a street rider for Koxx One, eats these pedals for breakfast, so to say. But sure as hell are the grippiest pedals I've ever used, even beating DMRs in grip by a long shot.
  13. Right well, according to BBC weather. It'll be dry until 4 o clock ish in the afternoon when it starts to rain lightly. By then i guess most of the outdoor spots would have been ridden anyway. And by 4 o clock its dark anyway... so it's not too bad!
