  1. now, i know i've got a pink bike, but...

if it were me, i'd paint the whole frame a nice glossy, bright yellow. mask off the area where the downtube sticker will be, and leave the ZOO! logo background clear, so it has a polished alu background?

personally, i think if u wanna make ur bike different, do somthing DIFFERENT. changin the colour o the stickers is about as good as changin ur pedals, and gettin different colour ones.

i'm thinkin o mint green, or the old BMW M3 mellow yellow for summer time. or maybe just pink agen..... >_<

  3. was just about to tell everyone about u hazzy!!! poor dude. twas only a few days after seein me fall bout 6ft straight onto my arm, and escaping with a little graze (video to come) and then steps off his bike, trips over, and bashes his elbow!! fractured in 2 places.

as for me, broke 2 of ma toes, but they take days to mend, so not too bad. dislocated ma thumb in september, nad thats still givin me jip every now and then. and twisted ma ankle pretty good. hurt more because its the same one that i tore all the ligaments in bout 18months ago. knocked out twice, concoussed (sp?) once (wearing a helmet definetly saved my life)

anyone find themselves worrying that one day, and injury could be a REALLY serious one? and yet it doesn't stop us from riding? after falling off the roof t'other day n landin on a wall, and escaping with just a bashed arm, i wonder what would have happened if i'd landed on ma back or somthin?

    ride safely guys

  4. surely if u put a ratchet from an xc in a bulb it wil be an xc with titanium freehub body wont it?

    errrr..... yeah. and?

    whilst we're on hope hubs...

at the moment, i can hear each individual pawl engagin at different times in my xc, so have triple the engagement (requires new pawls and springs, but i can't afford at the moment (Y)). despite this, it has not slipped ONCE!!

i know plenty of people who despise xc/mono's because they broke in a matter of months, however, mines lasted ages, and i have no intention of changin just yet. suggested the xc/mono ratchet as the larger teeth are (in theory) less prone to breaking, especially in the 'stamp stamp' world of trials

  5. I love 521s for their indestructability (well, almost indestructable. I only broke 4:p)

evry1 sed/sez DX32isms r cheese rims or really really heavy. well, yeah. they is noticably heavier till built up into a wheel and shoved on ur bike. remeber, a 521 wheel with mich comp tyre will b heavier than a DX32 wheel with light tyre. but hey....

I (reluctantly) went for an Onza Full Fat and...errrrr...YAY!!!!!!!!! when I started doin spinny street tricks, my tyre was folding loads on a 521 and causing me many spills. I haven't had a tyre fold since using a wider rim. and I don't notice the extra weight, even since goi to a nice heavy comp 16!!!

get one. yes 521s r brilliant, but DX32isms r just as good! tried and tested: FACT!!!!!
