  1. try setting up the pads properly, i do this by loosening the mounts off, then set the up so that all of the pad will hit the rim and so that the pads the distance i want it to be from the rim, then i tighten the bolts up but only so that they can be moved with force, the i put something like two 1 pence coins between the pad and the rim,I do this so that the pads are parallel to the rim, then tighten them up, the coins(or what ever you will use) may be hard to take out but it should be easy enough. 2. i dont understand why people have to laugh at him, as he said it was an idea. but yer, there are so many factors that would restrict the manufactur of the brake, and people may not have enough trust, and there would have to be a point where the owner could adjust the power of the brake, getting the brake to have modulation would be pretty much immpossible, meaning the brake is basically on or off, which could lead to accidents, going downhill esspecially.
  3. now these topics are just annoying me, theres no need for so many. *sigh* use this
  4. I see no one used my bike review and question thread . all your problems could of been solved without starting a new thread. Well, here it is, for future. Click me.

    Motorbike Choices

    simple, Aprilia rs 50:) aprilias
  8. I have snapped A t-pro clean in half, I were laid out on the floor, with my body stretched, still with my feet on the pedals and hands on the handle bars. Although I intended on finishing that frame off on that day, it was funny. But painful. I snapped it conviniently a few weeks before christmas. R.i.p t pro, gone but not forgoten.
  9. I read through new members chat today and there are so many “what bike should I get?” topics so I thought why not have just one? Someone may want a new frame/bike, and it’s pretty possible someone has the bike/ frame someone wants, so I guess this topic is kind of a review thread, I have no idea if it’ll work but if it does it will save valuable forum space. So if you have a bike and you want to tell people about what you think of it, then post it here, people will read the post of the bike/frame they are considering or are interested in, and they can go of what others think of the frame or bike or make a choice of what frame they will want to consider through this topic, simple. People can also ask questions about the bike and what it’s like and should hopefully have plenty of replies. No non sense just helping each other, and I’ve seen many post saying that new members never get a chance to do a decent post to get validate and what not, so here you go, make the most of it. Well I will start; I ride a GU typhoon long, mod. I love it. It is light strong and doesn’t feel flexi at all, the high bottom bracket makes sitting on the back wheel easy, but for natural there are defiantly better frames, it can feel a handful on natural, and a proper bash would be beneficial in comps. Street is different however, taps are easy on it and gaps are nice too, I’m afraid I’m not too good on the bike so that’s all I can say. Abe
  10. yup, Many old people are crazy. I was riding on a few rocks at like a mini park in Skipton, this women comes up and tells me its a garden and I shouldnt be riding it, so I nicely got of my bike and so did my mate. then she gave us a small lecture. Well I had enough. I told that what I was doing didnt do anything to the "garden" which it wasn't, and that if people had put in the effort to clean up the smashed bottles on the path, the over turned bench, the ciggarette packets, I would of respected that it was well looked after and not ridden it, well she insisted that people do clean the area up, but Ive seen that bench still overturnned, smashed bottle still on the ground to this day. But I still moved on to some where else. If I had carried on riding there then I would be in the wrong. Just respect what people think even if it is complete rubbish in your eyes. And as for chavs, or anyone like that, dont react, thats all they want. They will use your reaction as an excuse to carry on or get violent. if they get violent, move on, even though you shouldnt have to its easier to do that. And whilst I'm posting in this topic. If you put someone else in danger, I would expect abuse of some kind. and if its busy and your trying to do huge gaps or something, theres a massive chance someone will get hurt. Think before you react to what they said to you. If your wrong Admit it and apologize, other wise your not doing a great job to support trials. and could be seen as bad etiquatte .
  11. the reason could be tyre pressure, tyres wear faster when they are flat. I think?
  12. top man, I'll be getting a new rim shortly
  13. pallet vid just watched this, very good.
  14. what kind of adaptor would you be using, one like boothy's or one where it goes to the four bolt mounts? would it be neccasery for people to drill there own frame it allow a bolt to go through to make it sturdy?im intrested in these topics even though I know nothing about them
  15. ye sure, I might make myself a better adaptor in the meen time. i wrecked that one a bit with my heavy handed grinder, and drimmel. .need to have one specific hole each bolt as the groove type thing i have now allows the caliper to creep under heavy breaking. so mine is still very much a project. will deffiantley get up shipley some time, pm if you have a specific date.
  16. the t lite looks very good, but how is the adaptor not been move by the force of the brake.how is it attached? good work.
  17. miss judged gap, to front wheel I think. The front wheel clipped the bench and slipped backwards so my face hit the bench then the bike flipped over and hit me in the headed, I went mental started ripping stuff up, then sat down and realised how much it hurt.

    Zoo Vid 1 Edit

this is dannys new edit hes is 15 new bike still gettin used to it zoo vid 1 edit this is a mate of mine, you might recognise him from tyke trial, good video imo
  20. ye, the adaptor post was Inurs, unfortunatley i had to shift a lot of material myself, so i think it is alot weaker than it could of been if i had known exactly where it needed to be before i set to fixing it. so if i have to/decide to make a stronger one i will post pics with it off and on the bike. Do it mate, the rear disc is absolutley beastly
  21. there are two bolts on the magura mounts and one bolt that goes through the hole next to the axle.(where a bolt usually is for snail cams to push against.
  22. well the trials bike has been built up over the years with money i dont know how i got and the downhill is part of a personal loan of my parents.
  23. could someone do the sidewall black please?
  24. making it is your best bet, I bought one of the forum but i had to modify it for the size rotor and the thickness of the caliper, And i have made it a lot weaker so i am going to make one and make the weak points of the one I have now stronger, I 'll take pictures and stuff if people request.
