Rockman Bjo:rn frame is al done except for the color and artwork, slapped it together with training wheels ( standard rockman rims, hub and normal spokes, king in the rear etc) and a heavy bb while i wait for ti bb and race wheels with slightly modified rims and ti spokes. so Note: this weight is without a single hole drilled anywhere in any part http://www.observedtrials.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=15108&d=1276022321

Hello everyone, just thought i would post a short vid from one of the first rides on my signature frame from Rockman bikes. This was filmed in about 10 minutes a couple of days after xmas i believe, still getting used to the bike. At the time the name of the frame was to be BL but now it´s changed, and the colour is not final either, just to prevent the raw alu getting ugly in the swedish weather during the testing. Have been riding it since xmas and really been putting my 90 kgs to use in trying to brake it but has not yet succeeded so it´s going into production very soon. Have been riding the frame since then and the production model is soon to be available! Moore info on that soon, but i can give you some hints: lightest mod frame, highest graded alu, quality. At the lightest my bike as been at 7.54 kgs on my park tools scale, it was like 7,9 the first days when the vid was made. Both setups have been with the heavy but trustable king hub in the rear witch means that there is about 57 grams to earn just by changing to ffw, but i wouldnt. Enjoy and look out for this frame on the market soon! Thanks to rockman bikes for doing this for me and to tarty for hooking me up with the parts rockman can´t provide yet. Vimeo: Pootube:
  6. french right? their finest tools are a wooden saw and baguettes..
  7. no inbetweens here!either you match the bike to the max or you dont. Love the idea!
  8. I got them, and i love them. Outstanding when it comes to grip, durability and style from my experience.

    welcome to the bright side:)
  10. King have a pink series, also great since they are produced to benifit breast cancer for all of us that love boobies:)
  11. Im 195cm and been on a mod almost my whole life:)
  12. Really good riding ! There is a bright future waiting for you for sure:)
  13. So whats the point of you riding trials at al then? riding on the pevement is much less effort and trouble.. Changed the bolts for function, design, wheight and beacuse i can. I don´t really care if people see these or not, but i have a spare set of bolts on my desktop so i can enjoy the fine piece of work more often than i ride my bike...
  14. You will see it in a couple of weeks;) Yeah, made new inserts Had blue on my previous bike, but as i said, owned all colours exept brown by now:)
  15. i could have gone with allen since the threads are now m10x1.25 but m10 allen heads are quite big and not this pimp either:)
  16. it is the 409gram trialtech rim... -60 grams of material:)
  17. New ti bolts and ti washers for my king hub: Saved 22 grams and cost about 20 quid for the whole set up on tastynuts. ( note will not fit the standars bmx hub axle threads )
  18. the 409 gram trialtech rim -60 grams of material.. don´t really know how it will hold up yet, only ridden it a few hours... but if it fails i will know that and only remove like 20-30 grams. sub 400 is no problems if your a smooth rider, witch ryan is!
  19. do it! im going to ride a 349 gram rear rim on comps this year;) and im 195cm/90kg
  20. i dont know abot replacing fun bolts.. i have the bmx hub witch has some other very heavy and ugly bolts witch are non metric threads, what i have done is to make new aluminum inserts so now i can use normal m10x1,25 bolts instead.... Funbolts are quite sweet but you can not use em on tha bmx hub ao maybe they already are metric threads?
  21. did put my frontbrake on the scale now, and it ( hope carbon ti with other hose ) is 316grams including bolts, disc and everything.. The sram brake is suppose to be 288 grams ( don´t know if that includes al bolts though) . So the difference is only 28 grams! for 270 quid i recon it´s not worth changing to a brake that does not feel and look as good as the hope brake. Anyways, just got these to fit my king hub no so i´ll earn some grams there instead: http://www.tastynuts.com/image.php?filenam...ry=000400040005
  22. Yeah, from what i can make out i will prob just try it on the front to start with. And if it is very better then the hope i might try for rear aswell, but i doubt that very much. When it comes to rotors i will keep my rockman rotors since floating discs and trial don´t rime very well:P
  23. The bike on my website is quite dusty by now. Hasn´t been ridden for quite a while, since i got a new rig. I know there is more wheigh to be saved, but i build after my own head, my own riding and with components i trust and knowledge ive collected over the 15 years ive been riding. this thread took quite a turn but i guess i will find the info sooner or later, from someone or by myself:)
