  1. Right guys about to buy a megamo equip pro and have been told the rear disk mount is +40. So if I'm not wrong if I run a normal bb7 caliper with 160 adaptor I will need a 200mm rotor ? Is it at all possible to run an 8 inch (203mm) rotor as it is much easier for me to get one of those cheap?

    Happy new year ! Cheers!

  2. They are the 'ultimate' :P!! the lever is cnc'ed and runs on cartridge bearings making it so smooth and stiff. For a front brake though just go an xtr unless you can find a cheap deal on ultimate. I've never liked the feel of the other avid models lever but have always liked the xtr/xt ones.

  3. Thanks alot for the replies !! I got this frame from an Australian dealer here when they were getting rid of the old stock with the new echo controls and hifi's etc coming in. They had about three left i think and luckily i got hold of one.

Your right Rowan this isn't one of the oldest ones :P this is the model that was a year after yours and came only in 1085 with a tad of bb rise. I would of loved a 1065 one.

I would definitely like a thomson stem and post, especially cos the post i have now can only tilt the seat a little bit. But yeah they would be after a new front wheel maybe.

Rich, definitely do it, V brakes rock !

Joe thanks for the tip, but can I ask why it would be better to run it the other side ?

    Cheers guys.
