  1. Yeah that was what my main worry was, the frame not being fully cromo. I was hoping someone could tell me as I can't find any pictures as to an indication of what model disrupter it is. But I'll probably give it pass anyway and just keep looking. Thanks alot for help (Y)

Actually while I'm at it, what do you guys think about the DK 6 pack the baby blue one ?

  2. hey guys got a chance to buy this bike for $200 AUS ( about 80 pounds) just wondering if it would be a decent starter bike. It will be my first bmx ever !! I'm not to concerned about the parts just more wondering if the frame is any good ?

  3. I can get two models from protec over here and funnily enough the lasek is one of them so I can actually get it pretty easily. The other is the classic. From just looking at the pictures it looks like the classic is more 'safer'.

Is this the case or is it really just the same thing? I do prefer the look of the lasek though and I'm definitely liking the lightweight part, as the other BMX style helmets i've tried have been quite heavy feeling.

Also in terms of sizing. On my Bell XC helmet I'm a medium 56-58 cm, should I get a medium or large ? I can't really try it on as i'm going to order it over the net.

Thanks for the reply Rowan (Y)

  4. Hey Hey, looking at buying a bmx helmet particularly a protec one. I was looking at a white one with red straps like the one Rowan Johns was wearing in his last vid, the only one I've found with that colour is the Lasek model. Is that the one ? I heard that the skate helmets are different to the BMX ones where BMX helmets are stronger and protect your head better ?

Any info would be great thanks !

  5. I recently just put some heatsink reds on the front V for my bike and performance has been excellent but it makes a heck of a noise. I've got a really worn out grind on the front and I used to use koolstops which made no noise what so ever besides the shhh sound. The heatsink whites (which are the same as the red) I'm using at the back make no noise either, although I don't have a grind on the rear. Is there any way to eliminate this sound as its starting to annoy me? Any help would be great. Thanks.
