On my Zona Zip, I have an overkill 203mm BB7 on the front, slic cable, and an XTR lever. On the back I have an 04 Magura, Koxx Brown pads, Try All clamps on the back, grind, no booster. Both work amazingly well.

Magura internals are plastic, so the water doesn't corrode them! A good water:anti-freeze mixture works fine in the cold weather. If you really want an oil bleed, just get some mineral oil, NOT DOT fluid, as that will ruin the seals on the pistons. Magura Royal Blood is just mineral oil in a fancy bottle.
