  1. i build all of my own wheels and some of my mates, if you just take your time to get all the spokes at a good tension it will be a good wheel, but with your first 5 or so wheels always carry a spoke key after, because they have a habit of getting loose. good luck if your thinking of trying ps. get a nice spoke key, it will save your fingers in the long run!
  2. ok, but unless you can go as big as tunni, they are good rims, and if you do go as big as him you will probably be sponsored so will get them free anyway. i agree about the holes, being a bit smaller like 25mm would probably help with strength
  3. i prefer the 04, they feel and look much more robust, the lever blade feels nicer in my opinion, the tpa is easier to fix when it breaks as both 04 and 05 seem to do. so overall 04 on appearance and strength, as both seem to have the same power
  4. i've had a rear since they have come out and cant fault them so far! pretty hard to pinch on as well. seems to hold the grind well too. very good rim in my opinion
  5. avid bb7 and you don't need an adaptor the brake comes like it
  6. there is a post very alike this weekly at the moment and the general opinion is mostly zoo!
  7. i was looking on tarty bikes earlier and i saw the disk enlargment bits, and i want some more bite from my mono trials so i want to go for the 200mm conversion, but the only thing i'm bothered about is how it will look on the bike, i don't want it to look stupidly big! so does anyone have a picture of a 200mm disk on a stock, it would be greatly appreciated if you could post it on this topic or add me on msn ( adamheason@hotmail.com ) and send it to me, thanks all
  8. my mate ian had one it snapped after about two months, it snapped on both seat stays (he should have used a booster) and one one of the chainstays and cracked the other one, and he went on to an echo control
  9. pashley are having a meating soon to disguss making a new pashley mod, heard it off tim steadman, and it will probably be a scaled down version of the 26
  10. yes, the t pro is defiantly a good buy, the only thing that was making the old one look poor were the tires but they have sorted it now so its a spot on bike!
  11. i would say zoo bars as they feel really nice and now come in lots of colours to make your bike shiny
  12. well they fit the 05 pitbull because i have one on the back, so i cant see why they wouldn't fit the 06
  13. whatever is cheapest and looks tough! i'm wearing airwalks at the moment but they have only lasted a few months!
  14. i have seen people fit them to an 04 lever body but not an 05
  15. feels and looks very strong at the moment, i have had it since saturday and no problems yet, and hopefully there never will be! i mean look at it!!
  16. stock definitely, i just cant seem to put any power into mod because i keep hitting myself on the bars, but than again i am 6ft 4
  17. koxx blox green compound, they seem to work the best :(
  18. hi i saw this in mbuk and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it? being hope they will probably take ages to release it like the trials hub, but any information would be great. its number 5 on the picture by the way cheers
  19. bashplates are a waste of time in my mind, i've seen lots that have been used heavily and they can wreck your frame where the top bolt is.a good bash ring is all you need!
  20. what ban all of us, what for knowing the person who did it and going to my mates party. trust me we wouldn't have let it happen if we knew anything about it, and it was ross (ross_uk) as he has admitted it to me and some others, and i went crazy at him when i found out. but because its ross he wont explain himself on the forum, which is pretty harsh. he wont have anyone to ride with if he doesn't admit it on the forum, because he is annoying anyway so this has just tipped me over the edge, so i don't expect to ride with him again. hope you all, and the moderators can believe this, because this forum is valuable to all of us. cheers adam
  21. ok if anyone asks it says zdd ok?! and it will because it attaches in a similar way to the fresh products tensioner. i haven't decided what colour to anodize it yet so purple is a possibility
  22. hi, the images below are of a tensioner that i have designed for my a level product design coursework. i'm just wondering what you think, and any sugestions to make it better. any feedback will be much appreciated cheers
  23. don't know if anyone has noticed but my pitbull is signed by martin ashton !
