  1. Thats when you know you need a new Bike.. B) Dave... :-
  2. Hi mate welcome to TF! saracen mad, hmm. Nice bike to start on and learn all the basics. Few tips... 1. Find someone good that lives in your area (or near you) and ride with them, you will find it easier to learn! 2. Ride everyday. 3. Practice, Practice, Practice And most of all, Have Fun... Dave (Y)
  3. Temptations-Build me up Buttercup (Y) sorry... Kaiser Chiefs - Every day i love you less and less " " - na na na na naaa Daft Punk - One More Time (Bass on full) :o Eminem - All of them! Papa Roach - Blood brothers The list goes on... Dave (N)
  4. Echo easy (Y) got mine the other day and boy what a differance! Dave... (N)
  5. Alaminium Ever so slightly corrodes with water, but just the first leyer. It makes no differance really, u wont be able to tell
  6. Yep, water bled Maguras feel nice and so responsive! Just be carefull over winter, water freezes you know unless you use anti freeze  Dave... ^_^ "Is that bad for your maguras though?" Nope not really, corrodes slightly but thats it
  7. Thanks guys! When are the new echo rims due?
  8. Hi all, I'm after a new set of wheels for my mod any ideas on what parts to use, strongest, hold best grind, etc... Nothing too pricey £150-200 for two full wheels. Suggestions? Dave...
  9. Or just buy a welded one ^_^
  10. Well... Not really sure whats going on there bleed them again an if only one piston starts to move put your hand over it and squeeze the lever, if the other moves then your brakes are fine just put them back on your bike and they should work ok. The only thing i can think of hope it helps Dave :)
  11. "trisalshop" :) erm... Buy from somewhere else I would suggest getting a welded freewheel and spraying a bit of wd40 into it when it arrives. Don't run your chain too tight! Dave ... (Y)
  12. The best way to do this is to sit over the back wheel and drag the front of your bike up! Dave... :)
  13. Avid Juicy 7 nuff said, A bit pricey though... :)
  14. I'm running koxx browns at the moment with a nice rim grind, work really well in wet. :D Just the thing for winter (Y)
  15. "Weld" or buy a "welded" Acs £15 sorted (Y)
  16. Apart from the forks which i would have gone for echo it all sounds good (Y)
  17. Don't stop just cos its raining... get a good sharp grind (your rims are well up to the job for holding a grind) and use some heatsink yellows or koxx browns, and get a booster. And there you go your brakes won't slip :P
  18. Listen you can hear my brain thinking... 15.4lb is what your looking for 1kg=2.2lb's
  19. yep grinds are the way to go for winter. And if your on a budget dig out your old magura black pads from the bottom of your tool box they work good on grinds :$ dave
  20. There not bad as begginers bikes, but they start to lag when you've been riding for about six months :$ really heavy and almost no chance of upgrading due to the Massive headset! Dave :ermm:
  21. Best advice is just to go for it if your can jump off it, you can pedal hop off. it :S Start low and build up little by little and as Da Bomb says: "PRACTICE! PRACTICE! PRACTICE! PRACTICE!"
  22. hey! Just go to your LBS and buy the following things crank extractor, (approved) bike grease and a bb tool ( to go with your bb of course) :S remove your cranks, then take the cup off the NON! freewheel/sprocket side and put some grease on the inside of the cup and on the thread (not a lot) Then remove the freewheel/sprocket side making sure you remove the old grease as your go. Now put some grease on the freewheel/sprocket side thread (not a lot ) then put it all back together in the backwards order that you took it apart ( don't be afraid of making sure things are tight! ) And finally make sure your cranks are tight ( no1 main cause! ) And there you go :P
  23. ok, ok, could be one of two things then but im pretty sure it's the bottom bracket as when the freewheel is loose it tends to make a clunking rather then a clicking, and the cranks start to come loose right from word go with t-pros. Just try tighten your cranks first its a bit easier then taking your cranks off :turned:
  24. yo, the clicking is mostlikely not your freewheel but your bottom bracket make sure your cranks are very tight that should sort that out :) yes the t-pro does ride very nice, and people do learn very fast on them the only thing i would say is get a new bottom bracket shimano or summet because the one that comes with it is really s**t mine snapped in half :P Dave
