    A Few Pics

Cool pics joe, looks like your getting better at sidehops, gonna have to arange a ride one time in the hols when i get my new bike!, i'll hopefully have it for the world round so i'll come one the sunday and we can have a mess about on the rocks :turned:
  2. The Sidehop at 2:31 is mad, great video editing was good too
  3. Nice one, its good to see you can sidehop reasonably high whilst having the bike more or less standard (from what i can see anyway) get some lighter forks and youd find it loads easier
  4. That looks horrible, isnt it a exact copy of the St. Blaise? id pick the XTP over st blaise anyday, looked much nicer in silver :(
  5. if you have a hard rim, rimjam greens are absoloutely immense! the squeak is so loud and the hold is so good it wont budge if you try, but there crap on Cheese rims because the grinds arent sharp enough, JT! i never said you were made of money and i didnt say buy Coust pads right this minute! all im saying is make sure the next time you change brake pads if your still using a Cheese rim get those, there the only pads that will work good on it ;) everyone will suggest other pads like, koxx yellow's, plazzies etc and fair enough they do work alright, but if you want a immense brake get the coust pads and grind you try-all rim up :) Also if you download Biff's video you'll hear his brake is quite good, thats because he's using plazmatic crm's (correct me if im wrong biff) which are a similar compound to the coust pads. also if you want more info PM 'Lee_Buchanan' i beleive lee was in the same situation as you then he tried coust pads and never looked back (Whilst using his Try-All rim anyway) so dont start getting bitchy, im only trying to help (Y)
  6. Then your destined to a crap brake, mayaswell go get some vasaline on your rim cause thats about the best your brake will be if you keep that rim and pads  if you want a good brake using a maggy either get plaz, coust pads or change you rim to something hard like a echo rim, or a dx32 if you think rims dont make much of a difference why did you think most people on the forum arent using Try-All rims?
  7. JT! just try it!!! trust me, if pads didnt make that much of a difference we'd all be using black pads
  8. yeah, you'd think that but really it makes such a huge difference, just get some coust pads, and regrind your rim, trust me you wont regret it, my friend did the same and his brake was immense
  9. If your using the new style super wide Try-All rim there's your problem  there too soft for most brake pads to work any good on them, get intouch with fatmike and get some coust pads, put the coust pads on, regrind your rim and it'll be the best brake you've ever felt :'(
  10. What are people's opinions on the rear disk? lots of riders seem to be changing to them now, Ot PI, Dani Comas, Cesar Canas & now Marc Caisso wonder if these will be on alot of bikes in the near future?
  11. Yea been reading up on it and the apparently koxx and scorpa are kind of connected or work very closely, the frame is still designed by koxx just has a scorpa logo on it, and he's still in the koxx team
  12. New design from marc caisso (Found On OTN) I think it looks alright but it looks heavy, also he's using a rear disk, cant be as bad as everyone makes out if it's holding on some of the stuff he pulls off >_< im not too sure if he rides for koxx anymore either as this frame is a scorpa, but it's definately his, also there is no rim brake mounts, so looks like he had no intention of using a magura
  13. if you really wanna try it, get some ultre thin glue (prefferably both thin and super strong holding) get tiny bits of sand and tiny amounts of glass or anything else which is relatively sharp but is really small and since you dont want it to be too rough only use small amounts, put glue on rim, sprinkle the stuff onto glue, wait for it to dry, then add a coat of glue ontop of the finish and you have a long long lasting grind, if it all goes pear shaped just get the angle grinder out and grind it off, its just be like grinding your rim normally :D worth a try, i think im going to try it in the future
  14. I hate the carbon bit in the middle :- hope the mod version does'nt have it, also it say's the rear disk option costs the same, think i miight try it, one thing that confuses me, why dont dani, cesar etc use something uber powerful like a hayes 6 pot on the rear or something? im sure theres a good explanation but to me that would make sence
  15. Hence why it's a toddler's bike :'( so does'nt anyone have a clue about anything? surely someone has heard rumours?
  16. F*cking Hell bit ott, can quickly see this thread turning into a who has the harshest racial jokes :'(
  17. Well, firstly sorry for disapointing you there are no "Sneak Peaks" but im aware monty release a new frame every year and was wondering which month isit againthat a new frame is released? also does anyone know anything about it? i only know one thing for sure and one thing im unsure about, first thing is they have definately got a new colour which is this: also another thing is there might be 3 colours, Scotchbrite, Traffic Cone Red And Carbon, and the colour above
  18. Right a few month's back i was on the internet messing around on google, god know's how i found this story but i read it all and IMO it is really really interesting, read it all Heres the link i've done some research and there's loads of contraversy on whether it's true or not ive read people who have proved it's true and people who have proved it's not, but i think it's great no matter if it's true or not, a real cliff hanger.
