if you can spend upwards 140£ on a disc brake, spend 20£ on a set of pads..

How old exactly are the plastic spacers? maybe there just really worn? Have you got the gap in the spacers inline with the gap on the clamps? xx

I used to get this, actually i've got a permament dent in my thigh from it.. Moved from my 2year old Monty 221ti Stem, ( carbon sloped top cap one. ) to a 07 Echo Stem, and i haven't hit my thigh since Maybe some bars with higher rise, Onza Carbon bars rise like a fat slag..

not nessaceraly.. yes cold forging is stronger, but monty cranks are forged then CNC machines, making them weaker as your effecting the grain flow of the material, making them weaker.. Echo are completely CNC'd meaning the grain flow isnt effected as its from a single solid block all cut in the same direction! but credit to koxx in not CNC'ing after forging to make them lighter,
