  9. I really didnt, I thought with all the new member topics floating around, someone is bound to need this... Trust me i wouldnt have copied and pasted it  But in a strange way you saying that is good because it means i done a good guide , but i cant believe you would think that also... Jeza (hope i helped to sme people)
  10. Before you start you need to have the following things: .....A freewheel removal tool Thats a picture quickly got of the internet, others may vary slightly but its the four pins you need. .....A vice not necessary but helpful .....A long spanner preferable, to fit the nut shape of the freewheel tool, If you haven't got a long spanner then a long bar would help because the more leverage you have the easier it should come of. Right to begin...(there are many methods this is the method that i find works for me) ******************************************************************************** Removing From the crank 1.Firstly rap you crank arm in cloth and tighten in vice, the cloth is only to stop the teeth of the vice indenting your crank arm. 2.Place the freewheel tool into the notches.(these are four distinctive notches on what would be the bb side) 3.Place the spanner or the desired tool onto the tool (+ Bar if you have one), 4.Push down on the spanner head or the rachet head to keep the freewheel tool from move out the notches, 5.Turn slowly yet constantly with reasonable force. Then hopefully it would have came off, but if it hasnt you can try, placing the tool in the vice etc... Quite tricky to remove....(a freewheel) ******************************************************************************** Removing from a rear wheel You will need the same tools except the spanner. 1.Place the tool in a vice FIRMLY (dont be scared to tighten it alot) 2.place the tool in the notches of the freewheel again,(Obviously the wheel will still be on) 3.Slowly rotate.. 4.Then the freewheel "should" undo Extra tips.. ***Sometimes helpful to have somebody else with you, to push down on the centre keeping the tool onto the freewheel. ***I know for sure ENO freewheels have an arrow on them telling you what way to undo them. ***Also you can bolt the freewheel romoving tool to the crank arm so this eliminates you having to exert pressure on the centre keeping it on. ***You can sit the freewheel in Boiling water for a few minutes also then continue with undo with a spanner or hitting it with a rubber mallet (Jerks the freewheel hopefully turning the thread a little until it is easily turnable) This explains the Notches spoken about above Hope i have helped, I know i would have benefitted from having this when i was new to this (Y) Jeza
  11. To save the mods etc telling you read this Rules! Then you will understand selling is not allowed untile validation, i know its annoying but rules are rules
  12. By having them slipping i feel you lose power, because your hands generate a lot of the pull etc Jeza
  13. I normally use a tiny spray of hairspray little is better than too much, as the hairspray drys it acts as a glue, but doesnt affect the time taken to get them off either as the glue seal easily brakes. Jeza
  14. Sorry about that my fault, i would have edited my post but the edit icon isnt there, my apologies, Jeza
  15. I think about 230 - 250, thats fairly reasonable but you may have to settle for lower,
  16. I personally love a good stack of pallets about 20 idealy, that way you can change them daily and it adds variety and also push yourself more , and allows for little adjustments, and a wide range of set-ups, i love them  although rarely get to ride them :D
  17. It works by.... 1. spinning the wheel 2.Spraying a tiny bit of your rim (about an inch or two) 3.Ride with brake slighlty on to rub it around 4.Leave to dry, for 2 mins i think Yes it does make a noisy brake but a good one too, plus you dont have dirty black lines around your rim, although tar is awsome (Y), I would say try it and see what you think as i did of a mate (Y) was ok, same power as tar with advantages... Jeza
  18. Black and red looks gorgeous.. i would personally go for that mate :P
  19. Get some pics of you in the snow riding, or your crew whilst its snowing comes out a well good pic :P
  20. I dont want it to end in a bitching and violence, but im amazingly annoyed and it ent even my bike and i just wondered it anyone else has encountered this problem, oh and i live in a small town where the chavs ent really that hard makes it all the funnier!
  21. Hi all, My mate has recently sprayed his frame.. after having it to ride on for 3 days it was stolen by some chavs, and they have tried to cover it up by spraying it red but whilst fully built, so there is over spray everywhere and you know what chavs are like dont spray one part spray it all!!, therefore i think its chav beating time, anyone else had this problem Ta (one very pissed of Jeza :P )
  22. Tis nice mate lose the blue cranks as i think its over blue but other than that sexy, are you the one who rides with pete who has the echo team? im a mate of adam bessells if you dont know.. Yeah i am back riding now mate its all coming back :turned: love my riding even more now Jeza
  23. I agree with him mate, some pretty good riding but the amount of bails at the start makes you seem not as good but as you go on to watch the video gets better. like the bail at the end though :ermm: Keep it Up Jeza
  24. Awsome post mate, im firstly scared of dodgey people skateboarding on halfpipes affraid that they will fall back and break their leg like i did :) (not trials related, but i cant watch people skateboard anymore enless on the tv)Secondly im pretty affraid of gapping to rails as if you try to kick of and your not fully on or your back wheel slips you kick and go nowhere and this can be painful, Finally backhopping round on large drops hate it! Jeza
  25. To tell the truth mate it doesnt make any difference if you have big feet or you are tall its all down to personal preference, but i would say if you have previously to save up for a particular bike then do that because you will appreciate it more and its obviously what you would prefer. Jeza
