Echo rims are weak as shit and dent like a retard anyway, no-way I'd ever touch one of those again, especially one's that are 150g lighter, which yes, you are correct they have been made lighter. :D It's really disapointing, there are just no* wide, strong rims on the market! :( Mike. *Apart from one. Quality ride, minto atmosphere, nice one everyone. Although I wasn't riding well at all, completely totalled my wheel (but managed to get it round again! :P), had a puncture in the front (which i then realised was two after I put it all back on again), and snapped a mech hanger, I really enjoyed it. Yeah, they're imperial. Imperial thread (not sure of exactly what it is), and a 3/32" allen key head. :wink2: I've got some here, made by a professional engineer, with the imperial thread, but a metric (2.5mm) allen key head. Catch me on msn if you want one. (Y)
