Urr no, just get a peice of string, or something long and flat, position it as if you were measuring your wheelbase, then just measure how much higher the center of the bottom braket is from that line. (Y)

That was nothing to do with the stiffness of them though; it was because of a manufacturing (welding) fault on the brake mounts! Bike looks nice mate, hope you like it. Obviously he wanted to go for the control over his leeson, otherwise he wouldn't of bothered! Seems a reasonable decision to me! Mike. :P

Hey guys. I've got some Ritchly WCS grips to try out, which so far look very nice. But i've not run "normal" (non - lockon) grips for nearly 2 years! I was just wondering if people could give me the best way for non-slip fitness. (Y) I've heard water, gt85, hairspray, paint etc. What'll work best for foam grips? Thanks very much. Mike.

Using 16:14 as appose to 16:13 won't affect chances of snapping a chain. Going from say 32:14 to 16:14 will put twice as much force on the chain. It's the front ring that makes a difference. :lol: You'll be fine in the gear you are, changing the rear won't help. Just buy a new chain. Mike. B)
