  1. Aye, it's nearly among (sp.? (N)) us, Bike 05. Woop woop. (N) Anyway, who's gonna be going this year? Hopefully it'll be pretty good. Bike Show Site Coventry Station's pretty close, those going by train. I've found a cheap(ish) hotel a couple of miles away, £20 a night. I can't find any hostels! Google's crap. I'll be probably going for all three days, chances are, a few guys from slovenia will be coming out, so i'll be out with them when i'm not at the show! See you all there. Mike.
  2. *Look away now* Me: On a bike like this: Mike. (N)
  3. Urrr doesn't on mine, and most other people's i know. (That actually use the handwriting function! :ermm:) Just because it's testing doesn't mean it's perfect. Thats why they do testing to see if it is perfect (or close enough) or not. (N) Mike.

    Watch Out!

The last watch i had was nearly exactly the same as this: Nixon No. 4 (Slightly different colours to that one) Havent worn it in years. About £50. Mike. (Y)
  5. (Y) You've managed to get by without an angle grinder?! Wow. The joys of poor uni life. (Y) And dave, i think it was a lizard?
  6. Probably one of the best specced mods out there, r.b's, xtr booster, kings. :D Top job looks mint. (Y) And i know everyone said this about your old frame aswell, but some new forks really would finish it off. Seems like you've got top everything else. (Y) Mike.
  7. Noooooo it's not! Take; One old seatpost, fairly long. An angle grinder (preffered) or a hacksaw. A hammer. A vice or something to hold the seatpost. About 2 minutes. Place seatpost in vice. Anglegrind or saw an "X" in the seatpost, about 4" all the way down. Flare out the 4 bits of the post. Pull the post through the headset cup, untill the "flares" click back out. Hammer down. Very simple. (Y) Mike.
  8. Like? *bugs. Beta means testing, not that it's full of bugs. (Y)
  9. *sigh* MSN isn't working properly atm, it probably will be back soon. (Y) Also (not aimed at you), don't complain when it doesnt work, when it works 95% of the time, they don't have to run it for you! (Y) Mike. Edit: http://messenger.msn.co.uk/Status.aspx Mike.
  10. Sorry guys, can't come. Family stuff. Was going to be a mint ride, i hope you all enjoy it. B) Another time. >_< Mike.
  11. Jees, it's a £450 quid frame, i'd use the same technique if i was using it on a £20 frame, than if i was using it on a £2000 frame. We are telling you how to make a headset press. Actually, i've just seen a mint headset press for £2.99!! B) http://www.outdoorgear.co.uk/eshop.asp?wce...01&wci=product] Mike.
  12. Urrr, do what most people do, hammer. I've used it in my ck headset in my control, and a friends ck headset in a python. I just got a big rubber mallet, with like a 2" diameter head. No clumsy wood needed. If you're too pansey to do that, get a mate to do it, or find another shop that has cool people working there. The job only takes 20 seconds to do! >_< Mike. B)
  13. Think about when you're brakes sturgelling to work. Ie when there's more force being put into by the wheel than it can stop. This is when say you come up short on a gap, or up, and the wheel's turning backwards. Frames look good, i'm not really going to comment personally, since i'm not a mod rider, but fair play to onza for doing this kind of thing, and anyone who introduces new ideas and variation into the sport. :D And also fair play to them for making better frames cheaper, seems like they've hit the trials nail right on the head. Mike. :- :D Edit: Damn swedes. (N)
  14. Please everyone, it is Fatmike, not fat mike. (I hate tomm :P) And i don't want any cheeky mods changing that. I will probably come down, i'll get in at 10:56. :- Woaah, £12.25! Oh well. :( Mike
  15. Right, i've just bought my mum a pink ipod mini, and i've installed it all etc, all that itunes and quicktime crap. :P But, whenever i plug the cable in, it comes up in my computer, with a g drive etc, for about a second, then it says "unsafe removal of device" etc blah blah. It keeps doing it, and won't stop! :P Any help! Thanks, Mike. :P Edit: I've tried it in all 4 of my USB ports, and it's all 100% new etc. Also, in the brief second the "g" drive comes up, i click it, and says it needs to be formatted and stuff, what system do i need to use etc? :S
  16. Click in order: Bottom yellow one Top yellow one Bottom yellow one Green Bottom yellow Purple Purple Red. Sorted. That one was bloody hard though. I'm obviously far superior. :( Now, 23 please people?!
  17. I really don't have a clue! The others i've got stuck, then just spotted it, this i can't seem to do! Mike.

    Ghostbusters

Aww bless. They've even got little ghost buster emoticons too. :( I have no idea, ghost busters was never one of my favourite childhood shows. (Didn't dislike it, just never watched it). Give me a bit of tugs or teenage mutant ninja hero turtles any day. Mike.
  19. Meh, the galleries there for a reason. I'm not fussed either way. The bike's pretty sweet, wouldn't say it's creamworthy like most of the other people, i think it's just the photo/angle that makes it look good. Nice bike anyway though. Controls rock. :P That the long or short version? Awsome photo too. (Y) Mike.
  20. Just wondered if anyone knew zac123, he's not been online for nearly 2 months, and he still owes me £35 from a while ago. I've got his address, but he's ex directory, so if anyone knows his telephone number, it'd be much appreciated. (Y) On his profile it says he's got a 20" levelboss, but he's also got a 24" (i think) street bike, with black kings all round. Mike. :P
  21. Right, to update people on this topic, i got mine in the post this morning. Through no help to you all. :P I've bought these: They're really comfy, fully adjustable, and so far seem awsome quality. I've been playing some mega songs really loud, and some orchestral type stuff, and they seem to be holding up well! £26.99 from here, although, they're out of stock, so i found a place for £28.99 from amazon, came next day. :o I'd reccomend them, although the one thing that's annoying me so far is putting them in, since the "arms" are so adjustable, they're a faff to put in. I'm sure i'll get used to it. Mike. :o
  22. Yeah, danno, (dan08) moved out there a few months ago, he seems to be really enjoying it. Loving the comps, and general atmosphere out there. There was another guy who i remember moving out there, oh yeah, shez.sheridan, drew & designed cars i think. Haven't seen him in a while! Give me a shout on msn if you want to contact dan. ;) Mike. ;)

    head angle pic

Urrr, not sure if this is what you mean, but the standard head angle, is between the floor and the heat tube, Eg imagine a line on the floor going back from around the bottom of the front wheel, then going up (slanting backwards) up the head tube. If you're not on about measuring the "head angle", then fair enough. Mike.
  24. Yeah, i've seen those sony ones, they do sound (not literally, as i wouldn't know) good, but ideally i'd prefer some with a hook, like the B&O ones. If there is none, i'll probably just buy the sony ones. Sound quality isn't really that important, since i'll be listening to *.mp3's mostly, and their quality isn't great either. The most important thing is comfort.
