  4. My friend(Dont you Just Hate it When...) Robin posted a topic in chit-chat section about my car, id just like to update those interested; For starters, the correct top speed is 60mph (yeah it can go on motorways). At the moment I'm rewiring the whole car at the moment, because during testing of the old wiring, we had a little smoking incident resulting in a burned out wire casing and a garage full of thick white smoke. Anyway once the wiring is complete, I'm going to start on cleaning the engine of all rust and grime after its eight years in storage. Once all the work is done to the engine and electronics, I'm going to re aplolster the interior and give it a new paint job of silver grey where the maroon is and black where the black is. Anyway just thought Id update those who were interested.

  8. Ive got monty orange pads, and well if the internal broke within about 4 weeks of riding, i could die next time i use it lol. I was cleaning it out because the pulls wernt working properly and because i wanted to make it louder, and that little clip on the pro 2 broke.
  9. Pro 2 Trial 6 Speed hub, I was using wd40 to get the grease out of my hub, and it squirted all over my rim which got to my pads and nw ive grinded my rim, and gunna boil the pads in a mo. Stronger internals, yeah right. Anyway Im paying for new parts so the warrnety don't bother me too much hassle.
  10. Cheers mate. Oil is on there because i was cleaning my pro 2 hub of all the grease to make i louder, i also found out that my pro 2 had been skipping because Id broken one of the spring clips. after about 4 weeks of riding, so now im running 3 pulls instead of four. How annoying.

  15. I have recently purchased a new Giro Zen helmet, which I have owned for about 3-4weeks, and today it broke, the strap on the clips of the helmet look to have worn away, and i haven't used it that much, I went to put it on today and the strap just broke, this is the second Zen helmet I have bought within the last year. which had the same problem. Is it just me? Does anyone else have this problem, or experienced anything wrong with this helmet? Please can anyone help??
  16. To service the hub, all you need to do is take the wheel out of the frame, get hold of the hub with one hand and the sprocket/freehub body and pull off from the hub, just be careful as to make sure the pawls don't spring out and fly everywhere. Serviced it last night or a mate of mine did as I watched in complete horror as he took apart my 4 week old hub just by pulling on. Then all you do is jsut wd40 or grease and push it back onto the hub, making sure the seal is in place. (Bloody hub one of the pawl clips knackerd up after 4 weeks of riding)
  17. Just pull the free wheel off literally, really easy
  18. Has anyone used, or ridden with Vizz Straight/Urban fork, what do you think? Or could anyone recommend a good 5 piece straight alloy fork?
  19. Last night I was out riding with a group of mates, around the town for a good couple of hours, just riding walls and ledges and pavements. Doing the simplest things, like side hops and endo 180's. And it felt really good, I felt in control of my riding. I even bailed off this wall, flat on my face, now usually that would put me off for a while, but I got straight back up and rode it couple of times and pulled the move perfectly, I just felt on top of my game, for the first time in a long time. When was the last time anyone else has had that feeling where you feel you can concur the world on your bike??
  20. I had a Control frame it served me well for the two weeks i used it until i got my ashton
  21. My Latest and best move is riding along a thin wall and pedal hopping off the end not veryu amazing but i felt proud because i havent fallen off yet.
  22. The first time it happened I was just hopping on the back wheel and I just lost all pressure in my back brake, then the second time I went to hop off a kerb and it just failed
  23. I've had my T-Pro for about six months now and recently the cross over hose just split for no aparent reason. So I fixed that, and then yesterday the hose from the brake lever to the brake unit snapped. Why are they so weak? Has anyone else had the same problem? Has any one got any advise for it to stop happening?
