Right heres the situation, Ive had maguras on most of my trials bikes now for about a year and 4 months, and each magura I've had keeps going wrong, I either get lazy pistons or the hose just splits or I get contaminated pads, So I'm starting to think enough is enough. Do you reckon I should: A. Stick with the magura and buy another new one and new pads and start from fresh? OR B. Buy a new brake set like Avid Ulitmate Vee for the rear and Avid Disc for the front? Any suggestions would be much helpful Also Should I upgrade my front Deore Vee to a Hydro Disc? Cheers for comments and advice would be very helpful Cheers

Right your all probally going to think I'm mad but wouldn't it be cool if two provisional licence holders could drive a car, cause technically a provisional is like half a licence. So if you had two of them it would count as a full licence. Sorry if I'm just mad here
-
My parents don't mind me doing it, but my dad used to wonder why the lack of seats, countless times I've had to tell him why there isn't one. And Ive been riding trials on and off for about a year properly now and I'm still fat So I don't see how it keeps you fit

What are you looking to do with it, I'm not sure about updating the operating system from 9 to 10 but as for the internet connection, you can share the connection from the pc to the mac, using network setting from both pc and mac. Also once you have an internet connection to it, the programs on it should update itself like once a month or when a newer version is out. Macs are pretty good for video editing and dvd creation. As standard i think macs come with Imovie which is a good beginner video editing program. Ps if your mac was straight out the shop it should be upto date anyway.

Right heres the situation I'm currently wiring up my car Jowett Long 7 a post was put on here ages ago, and I've just recently wired up most the electronics, all except the horn and the modern style indicators. I was wondering if anyone knew how to wire up modern style flasher/indicator units? (I know they run on some kind of relay system) just not sure which order or where the relay unit goes in the circuit? Any help would be great Cheers Fathopper

Well from trials I've torn the bridge of my foot on a corner of a pallet, and stabbed my self with my keys in the back pocket of my jeans when i landed on my arse. Hmm and from when I used to do like all round hardtail stuff I stabbed my self in the rib and cracked it with my handlebar, remember always use barends which resulted in a round scab for a while. sorry no pics though.

Starting from when I was little; my first bike was a raleigh cheap thing, similar quality to apollo bikes, then i had a Giant Stonebreak MTB the first bike I ever took to bits and didn't quite put back together again RIP. Then I had a Saracen X-cell, full build, then changed parts everything except the frame. had that for about 2 years, then I bought a full build Onza T-pro, then that started falling apart on me so sold that, then saved enough money from summer job to buy Echo Control frame, with various other parts, then upgraded the frame to my current steed Ashton Justice. And then upgraded the frame Saracen X-cell frame to a Curtis Superx, Jim Davage's Prototype frame, then I sold that bike to my good mate Broomer. Who still owns it now. So there is the family tree of my bikes

Nice bike mate, looking really rad, going to be good once you get your Mono Trial. Keep up the good riding

Ashton Justice, Echo Urbans, Avid and Deore Brakes, Alex Dx32 rear rim, Mavic XC front rim, middleburns, Michellin Hot S tyres, Zoo bar, Hope Stem, Hope XC and Hope Pro 2 rear hub. And added touch of kitkat on my forks. my ashton has an update: its now got Avid Ulitmate vee which is really nice compared to my old magura, the adaptors are Zhi thanks to Ben Savage, they are very nice looking and easy to setup. Im currently using left over coust pad from Bigman, but going to put in Ali C joypads which worked brilliantly on my old magura. And a aquired friend ratty stuck in my spokes

Cheers for all the comments, but I'm probaly going to replace the pawl spring clip for the second time now, and if it happens again I'm going to send the hub back on warrenty. Cheers for all the suggestions. Thanks guys. If it goes wrong after warrenty probaly going to save for king, front free wheels not an option, my jeans hated it when I had one on my T-pro. Cheers guys

Hello, I have a bit of a dilemma, I have recently purchased a Hope Pro 2 Trial hub, and I've keep having problems with the internals of the hub. E.g. the pawl spring clips keep snapping. And its getting rather annoying to say the least. Can any one recomend a decent good quality hub, which is indestructible??

What Bike Have You Got? >>>survey<<<
fathopper replied to trialsr lee's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I ride an: Ashton Justice, Echo Forks, Mavic 517 on Hope XC Front, Alex Dx32 on Hope Trial hub, Rs7 Middleburns, Red Hot S tyres front and rear, easton monkey bar, hope stem. Red frame blue candy -
Ok cool cheers, the reason I asked was because I tried to fit an echo control booster yesterday and it didn't quite fit, so I ended up cross-threading the mount and ripping some of the threads out. Oh dear.
-
I would like some one to help me answer this simple question, Do Ashton Justice Mk3 frames need a rear magura brake booster? I have an ashton and not sure about putting one on really
-
Xens are good but ive had 2 now, one second hand and one brand new and they both broke in the same place(the straps that hold the clips together). They are good helmets but I wouldn't reccomend them.

Ok, How about this bail then this was not faked what so ever its just my rear wheel would not get onto that bench it was all the benches fault.... I was about 5 cm away from having no children. Now I almost felt that one that was low.
