  1. You'd better use a tensioner that tensions the chain upwards, you will wear out the chain and rear cog much faster this way.
  2. You misinterpreted my post. I was trying to say he should try 22-18 or 19 if he wanted a heavier gear compared to 16-14.
  3. I dislike it for having an integrated headset. you'd better use a derailer of some sort in stead of that crappy tensioner.
  4. I prefer a larger pair of toothrings though, to prevent too much chain breakage. Try 22-18 or 19 if you like a bit more heavier gear, or if you have limited space, try 20-17.
  5. hell yes, they are the best brakes i ever rode in my opinion.
  6. I assume you're riding these generic try all grips or some other brand as they are generic. Any pad will be better than that, any pad.
  7. I once rode a non ground rim in the wet and broke my elbow. Yes, grinding your rear rim is very good.
  8. It must be said that the magura specific oil or another mineral oil will also work as a lubricant for your cilinders where as water will do nothing to lube. Just my opinion. cheers.
  9. Putting your wheel into a clamp with the axle will fix the wheel real nice so you can work easily and turn the wheel. You should put something around the axle not to damage it, i use a rag but you can also use a specific axle holder to put in a clamp. Parktool makes some in different forms. Cheers.
  10. That's a really harsh snap. I ride them on my mountainbike and hope this won't happen in a descent. Did you get any warranty on it?
  11. if you don't care about riding a narrower 39-40mm rim in the back, have a look at the spank stiffee or alex DX 32 or planet X BMF which is the same as an alex DX32. I have two BMF rims at home, i haven't mounted them together as a set of wheels but i heared they hold a grind much better than try all (i have this on my bike at the moment and i must say the grind vanishes rapidely!!). cheers.
  12. really nice bike you got there man. Congrats!
  13. I'm not quite sure you're bike will be able to stand up in an astra van. It's just a cargo estate car. I think you might be better with something like this: The roof is a bit higher and you can even stand in it yourself if you bend over a bit. Cheers.
  14. I heared woodmans weren't as good as bonz or heatsink ones, in fact, i heared they suck. Is it true? I was thinking of buying some adapters and i needed some input from you guys. thanks
  15. then why are the 221Ti version bikes 1000 euro more expensive than the 221PR?
  16. I've been looking at the monty 20" bikes. Their top bikes have Ti frames. Is it worth investing in it? Is it / does it ride so much better than alu models, which are 1000 euro cheaper. Or is it just more durable and lighter ?
