I have tried this loads of times. I have my feet near enough in the middle and i feel fine and my riding is not shit by any means, I have tried moving my foot back but i think that unless you have done it all your life then it feels odd and every time i drop off something i completly F**K my ankle in. I think that it does matter where you put your feet its just the ability of the rider. Brett......

Hey, i ride a GU long. Basically the same frame really, geo wise anyway. I run Zoo bars with a low Hifi stem. I think that the bike cant feel any better with this set up so that is what i would go for if i was you. The front end will feel low at first and when you are riding along the flat but whens its up on the back wheel or doing any move it will feel great. Hope this helps. Brett........

How are the GU's bad quality? My GU is perfect, all the welding is spot on and everything fits perfect. I dont get what you mean by that. Get the GU Brett.....

I have a long GU and it is perfect. I woulndnt personally get the short GU as it would feel short as hell. GU and Pitbulls are about the same strength and weight but goming from what i feel about the two i would say the GU for sure. Hope this helps. Brett..

I have heard they are beast BUT i just want to know if the lever is harder to pull in with it being a cable. My old cable disc was good but was hard to pull in, thats why i changed to hydrolic (sp). Brett......

Hello, I have had a cable disc before and it felt ok but it seemed harder to pull the brake lever with it being cable. I am thinking about getting an Avid bb7 but i dont want it if it is hard to pull the lever. Any help would be great Brett....

Cant be. I havnt changed anything accept the front wheel since the forsk so that would make no difference. I like the set up etc but since i got these forks it just doesnt fell right and doesnt ride like it did. Brett.....

They dont look bent lol I have had a quote from Matt Arkwright of his being 1085. He runs echo urbans but i cant see there being 28mm rake differents between them and Ashton forks. I dont know how that bike rode different but i was tapping around 49-50" with the hifis on then as soon as i got the ashtons it just felt weird and now im struggling to do 40". Brett.......

I am deffinatly getting new forks. But want some that will maybe make it a bit shorter. When i had my Hifi's on it felt really nice but since i have had the ashtons on it doesnt feel normal Sooooo i am just looking for some advise on some strong forks with less rake on them. Cheers Brett.......

Hello, I have a Gu long frame which is supposed to be length 1100. I am running ashton forks atm becuase i bent my Hifi's. I noticed that my bike felt long a few days ago so i measured it and it was measured at 1113. I know that the ashton frames have a steaper head angle so does that mean that the rake of the ashton forks is more than normal? I want my bike to be around 1100 which is what it is supposed to be so do you think it is the forks that are making it that much longer? If so what forks would people recomend to make it to around 1100? Thanks alot Brett.......

Bollicks. Your bloody south african man lol. Everyone was riding good today. Although you dont do the biggest moves craig you are one of the smoothest riders i have every known which imo looks alot better and alot more stylish than going big. If only there was a way of going huge and smooth, would be heaven lol. Cheers lads. Again top ride Brett.....

Today was a very good ride i thought. The weather was kind to us and stayed nice/spitting. Some very big and techy lines going down. Ali i love them low taps you do lol. Sorry i dont know your name but the lad on the monty was soooo smooth. And of course waynio rippin it up lol. Was also good to see some young riders on the 20" bike. Cheers to craig for taking me and riding so well. Brett.........
