  1. Whats with the rear rim kyle? Is it just not ground or just piled with tar because it looks black to me. Nice pictures jason. Good work Brett.....
  2. The bike looks 10 times better in real life. Looks beautiful matey. And know im not gay Brett............
  3. How long does a new one last though? I dont want to be buying them every week Brett.....
  4. Hello people. After using all of the hope brakes i found that none of them had the power that i wanted, Yes they were ok and did lock but i hated the modulation before they locked. I put a post on here, asked people, asked bike shops etc and the all said get an avid bb7. I found a mate that had a caliper for sale so i thought i would give it ago. I bought xtr cable and speed dial 7 lever and this brake was a beast. It was running with a 205mm leeson spikey rotor, so maybe this was the problem? I did a gap to front wheel and locked the brake on as usual but i heard quite a load snap, looked down and half of the calliper had ripped off. Im sure that it was just the power of the brake that did this but i havnt heard of any other bb7's doing this. So my question is....... Has this ever happend to anyone else? Reply with your thoughts please. A well gutted brett......
  5. Nope lol. I dont want to change back because it is 10 times better for sidehops, gaps to front and back etc. The only thing that i am having trouble on is hooks and taps. Maybe the only one reply suggests that it will just take time to get used to? Brett.....
  6. Hello lads. i was just wondering if you could give me some tips on hooking. I used to run 18:14 gear ratio and i could hook up to about 61" on a vertical wall but i have recently changed to 18:15 and i have found that i cant get the speed to do them that high anymore. If i go fast i cant pull the front end up high enough but if i go to slow i cant get the hook. I know there is people who run 18:16 , 18:17 who have no problems so do you think it will just be getting used to it? I have had the new gearing for about a month now. So does anyone have any suggestions or is it just a case of getting used to it? Thanks Brett.....
  7. My 26" GU flexes ALOT. I mean like 5mm on each side. So maybe thats the problem. i run an rb lever, braided hosing, koxx yellows, and soon to have a Gu booster. Works beasty. I would say get a Gu booster just because they are huge and the frame would never flex wth that thing on and just get some coust, koxx reds/yellows, or plaz all with a harsh gring and you should have a brake that will work awsome. Hope that helps!!!! Brett........
  8. As it says in the first post. I only have access to movie maker. Brett........
  9. I have just tried putting it into "High Quality Video (Small)" and yes its smaller how i want it but the quality is quite poor. Any more suggestions? Brett........
  10. Right people, I want to know if i can scale down the size/quality of the clips i am using in my video. At the moment the picture plays very large and fills up the media player page. What i want is for the picture to be smaller and play in better quality. I know this will be possible on big editing softwares like adobe etc but i can only use windows movie maker. Does anyone have any ideas? Cheers, Brett.......
  11. FATTY'S!!!!!!! Dont get much stronger than them. Brett..........
  12. I thought the sections were set out pretty well. I did expert and found that it is better when the secvtions are harder. It is shit when the sections are easy and you get a handful of riders getting single figures so i thought these sections were set out perfect. I didnt ride very well through the day. Started off with only losing 3 dabs in the first 4 sections then got about 4 5's in a row. I was debating wether to retire or not thinking that i was goign to come near the bottom but it ended up that everyone was in the same boat as me. I ended up coming 2nd although i should have done alot better. I suppose it has tought me a lesson not to give up. Overall the trial was a good laugh as usual and thankyou very much to everyone who made it happen. Brett....
  13. You better be there boy!!!!! I havnt riden with you yet More people must be coming? Brett....

    New Vid Of Me

Best video you've brought out. riding was awsome and so was the song Made me laugh all the way through it. One of the best videos iv seen. And you and matt at the end waqs f**kin hilarious. Brett............
  18. The trial was great yesturday. I did expert 26" and i was kind of happy with 5th. Should have done better, couple of stupid fives put me down abit. The red route i thought was perfect. Section 4 was long but not impossible even though i didnt make it all the way round i saw a few people who did. I wish the next to british rounds were abit more up north. I cant make this sunday because of the school prom . Ahhh well i might make the 5-6 hour journey down to surrey. As for the 4x4. I have a pick-up . So the thing to do was go and ask for ago. We were only aloud on the green route (easy ) but it was still very chalenging and very bumpy lol. Some of you might have seen the silver pick-up go by when they were giving out medals at the end. Overall it was a smashing day and i cant wait for the next one. Thanks to everyone who organised and helped out in some way. Brett.........
  19. No its not the chain, it is perfectly aligned with the cog. I know what a skip feels like from previous hubs . I may try changing the grease. Cant make it any worse. Brett.........
  20. Does everyone do that? I wouldnt think it would make any difference. The grease has been put there for a reason else it would be there right? Brett.....
  21. I was boasting about my hub when i first got it saying it was the bee's knee's BUT im not to sure now. It has skipped more than a few times and so has my mates. The engagements do feel really solid when they engage but there has been alot of skips on it. Maybe its just my hub as iv heard no other hubs skipping so i would say get one for sure. I dont think your going to thrash it as much as porter lol. Hope that helps!!!!!!!! Brett...........
