  2. because i had to send those bits of to him so he can measure it up n stuff, i spoke to him yesterday and he said should be ready by then end of the month, so not to bad.
  3. i totally agree!!! i think every trials rider should have revolution, evolve and contact as standard issue. they are just simply amazing and still beat all these new "internet" videos without a shadow of doubt.
  4. forget the leeson bit, they've been around for about 6 years, my mate has had his frame for about 4 years and still goin strong
  5. look it up on the net im sure theres something on there, and you never know that they might know the exact story behind it and what exactly will be happening or whatever.
  6. ahhhh!!!! at last someone with some REAL knowledge!! yeah i remember all those. god that does make you feel old haha i remember seeing one of the first echo frames at nass '01 or '02 can't remember which i went to and i just remember it being an ugly beast even though i was riding an old 12.5" GT tempest frame with flextastic FT cromo forks god they were bad hahaha

  8. yeah it will be worth it, can't even begin to imagine what its gunna look like which is very intriuging. ordered mine in arctic white, with 1020wb slightly lower top tube and with a seat-tube, should look mint.
  9. hey everyone, just a rant to say that im sick and tired of waiting for my Leeson. I know it'll be worth the wait but i have no bike to ride and its driving me crazy!!! so to the people that own a leeson... just wondering how long it took yours to be built? and what geometry did u choose? also i don't any of you lot are goin to that big leeson meet sometime this year are you??
  10. nah mate thats the booster you want cheap as chips too, i use on my 2.6 and it fits snugly, works well too.
  11. the geo actually sounds quite sensible, doesnt look too bad either, and if you run singlespeed then even better

  13. nah stick with a leeson mate, will be the best bike you've ever ridden, because it will be to EXACTLY how you want it to be. i'm just waiting for mine to be built as we speak.

  17. lol so yeah i did find it off a website but i mean, at least it was a useful post and i dont see many people posting about v brakes, but the fulltime mechanic thing is true, i just couldn't be arsed to write all that up. you can ask several people who live in folkestone that iam.

  20. mine was a raliegh swampthing, it was actually a dual slalom bike with triple clamps and everything, put a bassguard on it as soon as i got it, was using that for a while then got a gt tempest (21.5" version) which had rigid gt cromo forks (flextastic) and rode on that till that bust. then quit for a few years then got a saracen mad 2.6 upgraded heavily now im getting a leeson clear 660
  21. No not at all, im a fulltime Mechanic at halfords, been working there a while now and have learned quite abit there, got a sweet cycle staff in Folkestone. I just thought to myself that i've been on the NMc for abit too long now and know quite abit so i thought i'd post something up. But yeah ignore the toeing in bit thats just for general mountain bikes and im use to doing that with the bikes i work on at work.
