  5. hmmm that adamant a2 is looking rather sexy, quite a nice simple design
  6. any local bike shops do 'em, ask for a shimano dx one they're only about 3quid or so
  7. i dunno, because i was reading up about it and its more of a doo-all type frame i.e. skateparks, jumping, trials etc. and thinking more now if i want a new frame i'd want to go more trialsy
  8. ok i've decided to open my mind a little and see what these new seatless frames, bearing in mind that my currant frames wheelbase is 1006mm lol so i'll be needing a short one. so what do you lot suggest?
  9. hello there, im thinking about getting a new frame for the summer and i was wondering what you guys would suggest. at the moment im riding a saracen 2.6 frame and very much loving it but want abit of a change. MAIN priority of the frame is that it must have a seat-tube. looking forward to your suggestions. cheers, jake
  10. i can smoothly land about 6.5feet to concrete.
  11. yeah i started around '98 time and yeah there has been some radical steps being made in trials world, some for the better and some have been for the worse. good points- skill of riders has increased. more trials spec parts availible. more people riding. bad points- the internet (brain washing young kids into thinking the wrong thing) although in some way it has helped many riders get fame and glory from it, i've noticed that alot of young kids on here appproch in the wrong way i.e. adverts bombarding them about the latest n greatest parts from all these new fandangled companies. other than that trials has moved on alot, definately in a good way, there will always something that i'll get annoyed about but i guess i'll just have to live with it.
  12. well when it rains it gives me and a few friends a chance to work on our trials website (www.streetfurnituretrials.com) also it gives me a day to rest my old and frail bones aswell. it also gives me time to do other like practise guitar/bass and other wierd n wonderful stuff
  13. dude your an idiot, that guy is an absolute god of trials and actually trying to do what he does on "the manifesto" is soo soo hard especially watching the stuff he pulls off... to be honest mate you need your head examined
  14. yeah i say be a man,but i mean i do kinda need to wear my ones at the moment as my leg does look like a shrapnel wound lol but hey its cool for pulling the ladies with
  15. im surprised no-one has mentioned "the manifesto" probably the most "WTF??" dvd ever
  16. my back end is rather light considering what im running (hope bulb on sun rhyno lyte xl and maxxis high roller 2.35) and i dont get punctures at all
  17. lol how can you get dated geomatry?????? e.g. "ahhh shit!!! the geo on my xbike 2000 has gone off!!! bugger, should of left it in the fridge" lol
  18. for me, best american rider would either be ryan leech or jeff lenofsky and for england its gotta be chris akrigg or martyn ashton.
  19. mines been fine, not had a single problem with it and i've been giving it sum serious abuse too
  20. hey there people, just wondering who here rides the essex bike trial comps here?? if so i was wondering... what rules do they use again? also bike spec aswell for 26" just wondering what i need to do for my bike to get it comp standard.
  21. aparently people use anti freeze in their bleeds, some people say it works some not. i'd use maggie oil really because you'll knacker up the seals using normal water
  22. *to revell bikes* as im abit of an oldy when it comes to trials, i absolutely hate all the new trials companies that are out at the moment, frames are too long, too low and have no seat, they look silly since it has mountain bike wheels on it, wheres i like to have a seat on my stock, but then back to the norco frames, knowing what i know now, they're probably not really the sort of frame for me then since im not so hot with manuals etc, probably look at getting a lesson but then everyone has one so it won't feel special. i dunno...
