only got it 100mhz over stock speed, was 2.4 originally. Im runnin a DFI LanParty UT nF3 250Gb motherboard. Pretty much the best socket 754 motherboard around, althought the new EPox one looks amazing, with the SLI support. Ive also got this cpu watercooled so its extremely stable and fairly quiet.

onzaboymark gave me the best tips for servicing a freewheel....... take it apart, remove pawls and springs, use kitchen towel/rag/cotton wool.......anything that will soak up excess grease/oil clean the pawls and springs also, replace them in order (if an ENO remember short pawl, long pawl, short pawl, long pawl and so on) "Crop spray" with GT85, by that i mean 6-8 inches away, spray a coating over the freewheels innards. Dont use WD40, as i find it picks up ALOT of dirt inside ur freehweel and becomes extremely thick. I used WD40 4 weeks ago and already the freewheel is quiet and skips quite alot....... dont over grease, but dont leave it dry

just a couple of things to consider. Can the system deffinately handle 2gb of ram? Chances are it CAN but just double check the SFF spec. Have you plugged in the front USB ports correctly? I built a system last week onto a dfi motherboard and having the cases front USB connectors in incorrectly stopped the system booting up. Finally, does the system have sufficiant power? Again, in previous computer building ive come across not having enough power, and my cousins system is an SFF on a similar spec, only has a 300watt PSU and it struggles. If none of this works, there is no harm in re-building the system, take it down to the bare minimals to reduce the amount of error, ie, take out optical drives, hard drive etc etc.. good luck

the only time ive had that "clonk" at the same point every turn its been my bottom bracket was slightly loose. Hold both ur cranks and wiggle them holding the frame hard with your knees, if you feel the cranks moving together then your bb is loose. if this dosnt happen then..........who knows......

cant help u much as i dont use torrents much JT, but NTFS is a type of file system that you select when you make partitians, and i dont THINK it can be activated after you've installed windows etc i prosume this is on your new laptop and ur having trouble? has it only one hard disc and one partition, i.e. only C: drive? no doubt someone will have the answer, sorry cant be of further help :(

is the term router not usually a hub and modem built into one box? i didnt know you could get wireless hubs on their own. is the port on the back of the router not just a phone socket one? like the one you use to connect from wall phone socket to modem? I know this is making you sound stupid but its a common mistake. you'd probably be cheapest buying a new modem, or a new wireless router, as i dont believe there is a cable or transformer for usb to ethernet. stu
