  1. nice bicycle, like the black and redness, it's rather awesome. as for the vid thats awesome to, i think the quality will be because of the frames per second on the camera or it could just be as you said that you could only "load itt on a crappy one". and the guy up top is right where a helmet lol not that i ever do but i don't ride big to be honest but some nice falls as well. keep it up dude.
  2. fair enuf lol think i may just give it ago on some ones bike before i buy then, i guess its personal preference but i just get so confused with stuff like this, same with geometry on bikes like, what hight does the bb make a difference, it obviously does lol i just don't understand. lol simple people hey. cheers for the help just read all of that page off google and now thinking about it, it is quite easy to understand lol and as i do a-level maths you'd think i would of know lol owel. bikes are justgetting easier every time i find something out. awesome. cheers guys!!!
  3. hahaha that made me laugh for hours but there is an old gate hinge on the wall which the uni cycle is on then i just gave him a leg up and we left him there like jesus, nice and controversial.
  4. cheers pal, i shall now order a spanking new crankset up
  5. sorry if this topic has been posted before but i have just recently found my password for my old account and haven't really been in this place for ages. my question is, how do gear ratios work, what makes it harder to pedal and all that sought of (to me) technical stuff. its hard to explain what i mean but im always stuck when working out what will be harder to pedal 18:10 or something like that or a higher toothed front sprocket. im thinking of buying a full on street rig like a dmr or something, and i was wondering what sought of ratio i would be looking at. whether i'd go for a 42 tooth on the front or a 36 tooth cog. i hate technical things but i guess i need to know to understand, owel cheers in advance to any one who can help!
  6. trials has evolved as a discipline, and now is a compromise of many variables, such as the latest being 24" trials i guess. there are no written rules that i know of which stops trials from being something else. as long as you enjoy riding trials will all ways be about, whether people ban it or not. it's peoples personal preference which direction they go in and conformity doesn't neccesarily apply to every thing. to be honest i hav't got a clue what i'm on about here, it's just some mildly philosophical bull i aply to every thing, that the world is full of compromises between things and there will all ways be people changing. the thing which i often wonder is why i do ride my bike whether it be trials or not. i wonder whether it is worth the money i pay for things just to ride, the answer is always sut up and get on with it, but if you enjoy something youll carry on doing it, so i hope i never stop enjoy riding. does any body else ever wonder why they ride or am i alone on this? Have fun!
  7. yeah i know where your coming from, the only reason there like they are is because there for my art a-level as well so you know what artists are like lol. will get some more pics up soon when i go out again.
  8. as i've now learnt how to do images thanks to the help of joelio, i think you may like to see some pics, maybe limited though but i have a lot more pics from other rides, which i may post later on. i may aswell ask although it's not strictly on the lines of trials infact not at all on the lines of trials, but does any body have any good irish punk bands to recomend other than the obvious;pogues, flogging molly, dropkicks. much appreciated. sorry if the pics don't work but have fun if they do
  9. cheers buddy, think i got that cracked now. awesom!
  10. hello there riders of the world. i have a little problem with my incompetence. I have about 100 photos (some good some bad) of different people riding which i took when they came round to northallerton to play, the only problem is how do i get them on here for you guys to take a sneaky peaky. my pictures are on paint, and i was just wondering how do i get them on the forum. do i need to do something special or am i just being special. cheers very much.
  11. awww wow all of them are sweet bikes, good work people, hopefully i may one day be able to get one (where did you pick one up for 200 quid boyo), i think one will look pretty nice with black frame and forks then red rims and headset. (Y) (Y) :(
  12. hi i'm really interested in the zoo python and would like to see yours so if you can post a pic of it so we can have a look to see what you've done to them. thanks
  13. cheers pal, just thought it would be better to get the word off someone who has experienced the wonder rather than word on the street. thanks :P :D
  14. help him, show him where he's going wrong try and teach him in a way, but don't take the piss and do it first time in front of him, otherwise find other people to ride with.
  15. i was wondering what a hope mono trial disc would be like for the front, is it as nice as a well set up avid mechanical, i know my mates mono mini is a bit buggered and i've been told that once they brake they are broke but i'm not sure as it is a different brake. got any reviews on them. thanks.
  16. i'd say get a t-pro out of both of them, i've ridden both and i prefer the t-pro but you may be different, if that helps you, although the price doesn't look to bad for the t-mag.
  17. have a look at a t-vee, its pretty much the same as the t-bird (i think but don't quote me) and then slap your maggies on with some mounts and you'll be saving some money to. sorry if i got my facts wrong i'm usually useless at this sort of thing.
  18. i have snapped a bolt off my maggie mount but i think it was from old age
  19. thanks for the sugestions, hopefully it'll sort the problem out. :P
  20. Hi there, i have rounded off the bottom bit of the crank where it goes on the bb a fair few cranks in this last year. I was just wondering what makes this happen, and is it something i can prevent. Although it is not on my trials bike it is still annoying me and costing money to sort out :P . If any of you guys out there can help me, thanks very much in advance. :D
  21. hi my mate was i think the second guy to snap his one, so he sent it off to onza and they gave him a new one for half the price, then he snapped it again. oops
  22. thanks for the replies, lol iv already tried with a big hammer but the hammer lost and is now sat in a bin, owel i'll try the bike shop. thanks guys (Y)
