hi i was riding in stockton and yarm with a mate the other day and got a bit fed up with my old freewheel skipping so i tried sorting it out at home but its proper stuck on and i'v had several atempts with a hammer to get it off the crank arm. i'v used all the proper tools up to one point where i lost my temper. i was just wondering if any one had any sugestions of how to get this litle bugger off. i'm trying to avoid spending money on a new crankset cos im abit of a tight arse with money. thanks very much ion advance :)

no way am i saving up that much for a free wheel well not just yet. i think acs claws are fine and was asking if they were ok an eno isnt an option at the moment

nah i dont fancy spending 70 quid on a free wheel i have little/no money at the moment, you know how it is :)

hi there, i have an oldish monty x-lite and the freewheel that came with it keeps skipping. i have seen that alot of people use acs claws for trials and was thinking of one of these. is this a wise option? also i have a 12 tooth sprocket on the rear so would 16t or 18t be better on the front as a freewheel? thanks in advance for replys :)
