  1. im running a 16 12 on my stock at the moment with 116 spacing and im really getting on that but a freind of mine used to ride mod has got 18 15 on his 26" stock with 116 spacing and he finds that a good gearing and very similar to his mod but i cant remember what his mod was running
  2. hi i have got a 24seven holroyd with a gearing of 16t front freewheel and 12t fixed rear is this the same gear as a 22tfront fixed 18tfreewheel? it feels a lot harder but i have been told it is the same ratio does any one know how to work it out? thanks jamie

  5. just got myself a 24seven holroyd and it rides sweet i bought it because it was really cheap and looked half decent and a couple of mates bought one at the same time

  10. hi everyone i am looking for a new rear hub 110mm spacing. im looking to spend arround 50 pounds on one. the problem i have is i have got a 36hole rim. does anyone know what would be the best one in my price range? would a bmx hub be ok to run as i will be runing a fixed sprocket on the rear and there seems to be lots of choice in 36h hubs? jamie

  17. luckily i didnt get hurt but was still scary pulling up and nearly hitting myself in the face
  18. yeah the nut end of the quick release will unscrew to allow it to be inserted into the hub make sure the springs go back on the right way though

  21. ok i know its only small but its a start here are the vids first attempt i lost ballance on the wall but you can see the size of the gap second i land it this time and this is pretty crap cos you cant see the landing just need to get bigger and better now lol

  23. i have ran both the formula and the hope in the past on my dh bike. i had nothing but problems with the formula. the hope on the other hand was excellent. from what i have read and heard from other trials riders they recomend the avid bb7 cable disc with either the sd7 lever or xtr lever or the hope mini hope this helps jamie
