  1. They're completely different, Rockman is more of a comp frame, not a bashers bike. I'd personally have the Rockman because all their frames rock.
  2. It's practical. The seat tube will always point you in the right direction need you be too drunk to know which way is forward.
  3. Jake proposed that a few years ago, wonder if it works. This is why I like OTN, there's lots of people on there who aren't afraid to try and experiment.
  4. You ought to forward that piece of face furniture to Tobias, he's on a mission.
  5. Well yeah, your current project can't be called modifying. It's making a completely new vehicle
  6. The ending was a filler. The TG editors are some of the best I've ever seen in any programme yet that ending was absolutely crap. It seemed as if they took 10 shots of that car and just repeated them over and over again with no idea of how to edit it and make it look good. The message Clarkson was trying to convey was silly and untrue. He's saying that now and in a few months he'll be shooting for the new series blasting a new Pagani/Lambo/Merc around the track being all excited about how amazing it is.
  7. I kinda get what you mean. But to relate what you just wrote to my original post and use your A3 purely as an example - you fancy your A3 the way it is, but surely there's a stock car out there for around the price of your A3 + the mods you've done to it which will fulfil your needs just as well? This is not at all a question aimed at you, just using your car as an example of what I meant. If I were to modify my CRX so it's nicer to drive everyday, I'd supercharge it to make it a bit faster, harden it up and lower the suspension, change the whole dashboard, add A/C and power steering. But I'd rather just look for a car which is faster and has all those extras I'm after (which would probably be an A3 ). At the end of the day, I guess that if you're satisfied with the mods you've done and are willing to hang on to the car then they were worth it.
  8. I'd say a massive no, unless you're modifying it for a specific purpose - not just making it go better because you want more g-force on a roundabout and on a straight road. If you want to take part in rallies, time attack, drag racing, drifting, whatever then yes. But other than that I really cannot understand why somebody would sink money into making a car faster and better looking. What I'm trying to say is that if you're starting off with say an ordinary Civic / BMW 316i / R34 GT and want to modify it just for the sake of making it go faster on the road, sell it and get yourself a CTR / M3 / R34 GT-R etc.
  9. It's faster around the Ring than the Z06 and the Z06 did a 1:22 or something like that. Anyway, according to Wikipedia it won't be featured in this episode. Which is rather odd because it's the last one and in the preview they had some kind of Ferrari and that ZR1 power sliding on the track.
  10. Sandblasting will remove everything, even the whole fork if you do it for too long. So obviously it will remove an anodized surface which the Zoo fork hasn't got.
  11. Your riding can best be described by the word "fast". That was some pretty incredible stuff.
  12. I agree with Joe, it's nothing out of the ordinary. Things like this happen.
  13. Now that's a surprise, finally joining the forum. It's been a while, good to see you here! Best wishes from Poland, Alex
  14. 1. Johnson & Johnson 2. None 3. Chai, Staples, Anzo since they were fun to ride with, Mr. Monkey Boy, Muel and a few other forum members which I think riding with could be fun.
  15. Looks like we'll get the ZR1 in the next episode, can't wait to see what that thing is capable of. Now that Americans have started making proper cars, things could get quite interesting. 1:19-1:20ish lap time at a guess?
  16. You're going in too deep. Hook the front wheel just over the edge of the wall.
  17. I'd love to see a close up of the brake mounts. Frame looks really nice.
  18. Modular frames, better brakes. Wouldn't expect them to get stronger as we've already had the high point of that and from then on everything has started to get fragile and weak.
  19. My new favourite on the best trials vids in the world list in which I list the best trials vids of all time which in my opinion consist of the best riding ever. edit: sorry, I didn't mean best. What's the word... f**k it, I've gone blank!
  20. If you're looking for the highest sober bunnyhop, you can count Marco out. I think in his 2006 vid they were celebrating each successful bunnyhop with a shot of vodka or something before raising the bar. So he must have been pretty f**king pissed by the time they got to 130.
  21. I had the same problem on my Trialtech fork when switching frames recently. What I did was change the headset from a Chris King to an Echo SL which is much more compact. That saved me enough space to ride safely.
  22. Greetings

    Crazy Bmxer

Am I the only one who thinks that most bmx vids put the whole discipline of bike trials to shame?
  23. Yes, although they nearly lost to team A in 2004.
  24. We need a poll. Poll poll poll. WE NEED GRAPHS!!!!!! NOW COME ON!
