  1. His riding is amazing but I found the vid rather boring. It was worth waiting till the end though, f**king hell Nice music. edit: meh, now I remember the track, wanted to use it for a vid a few months ago. The name is: Kate Havnevik - New Day
  2. If it's new, then surely it's way too early to say it's good? I second the Echo TR's, they've got a really good opinion this end.

Yeah there was a thread like this a few years ago. I'd love to do it, sounds like so much fun. Especially if you have some old abandoned factories or power stations nearby.
  4. Shut up. Longer cables will do the trick, I do them occasionally and have never had any problems. You can do at least 2 whips on such a setup if you do what Mikey Tomo wrote. Personally I think that a cable which goes through the fork is pointless. It's just not needed unless you want to do 3 or 4 in a row.
  5. I'd love a cat! Preferably one which doesn't need any maintenance or feeding and has pink fluff instead of fur.
  6. You couldn't be more wrong my friend. When lines are involved, the highly sought after skill of panning the camera is required. You can acquire that skill in college doing photography.
  7. The problem with this vid I think is the size of everything and the fast pace. Every single move is so massive that if you had time to digest what's going on, you'd blow your mind. Yeah me too. There's been so many new riders appearing out of nowhere recently that you just loose count.
  8. And you have a pic of a sidehop in your avatar. Go away and do some sidehops.
  9. I grew up on Vincents Co vids. This is an absolute classic: Vimeo Video -> Original Video
  10. Trials-Forum Video -> Full View • Download • Upload
  11. Your frame will crack if you don't modify it. These frames have around 106mm hub spacing. A profile is 110.
  12. As long and as low as possible.
  13. Nah, riding a BMX with a lid is so uncool.
  14. I'm not a fan of his vids because they're mostly crap and don't consist of any riding, but after the first 1:30 were gone I was absolutely amazed.
  15. Yeah I know, it's just a bit pointless. Perhaps 24" bikes need to evolve just like 26" bikes did. From a bike with a seat which is ridden in a combination of styles - not just trials - to a trials specific TGS machine with no seat and GU-like design.
  16. I like them, my only problem with such bikes (after riding an Inspired) is that the seat is pretty pointless. Even if you sit down, the handlebars are so far away that you can't pedal along. Either way, apart from the stem the Echo looks great, black Adamant isn't my cup of tea but it sure looks interesting. edit: most importantly, with backing from such a big manufacturer, 24" street/trials is going to get more and more popular and that's always a good thing.
  17. More mechanically sound? But yeah, that is quite an interesting point. And I double that Gustav M's are one of the most powerful brakes ever. They're absolutely insane, especially the early ones with full disc rotors.
  18. I wasn't keen on foam either but Trialtechs completely changed the way I think about such grips. They're just the best thing ever. They don't slip at all, grip well, don't wear and are easy on your hands. Echo SL stems are good, TR would be average. If you're looking at normal welded stems, take into account that most of them are probably made in the same factory but have a different logo printed on them. So don't go for the most expensive one, it might be identical to something much cheaper.
  19. Is Gattaca new? If so, it's good.
  20. Exactly, the power of a brake depends on the ratio between the master cylinder and the slave cylinder. If you double the slave cylinder area, you're going to get twice the power. The only difference is that you're going to have to pull the lever much further to get any effect.
  21. Yeah, he broke his spine. It's clear that most of us trials riders should just stick to trials Anyway, get well soon man!
  22. I always considered Mike just to be one of those better than average riders who have been riding for ages but after watching that I'm amazed. He's got some serious, almost pro skills. Loved both parts, brilliant natty and some seriously interesting street riding. I'd love to go on a trip like that myself but to make the most of it and not just turn it into a waste of money, you have to be a pretty good rider
