  1. fair do, but i still think it's shit + needs sorting out really bad
  2. but his missus makes up for it, many times over
  3. yeh but you don't want to angle the pads on the rim! if you could only rotate the pads, move them in out/up+down then you'd end up with pads hitting the rim square on + wearing down flat so you don't waste pad and get maximum performance out of them right from the word go.
  4. get orchids? i ride in them there so good! they've outlasted my vans to and theyre comfy as fook to
  5. if the forks matched the frame i'd need new boxers by now looks ace just get the forks painted to!
  6. any inertube will do, i run dirt cheap ones n they don't pinch (but i run 40psi ) i might invest in something more heavy duty lke an echo one. but any inertube will do the job.

  8. bloxx brown! weather wet + crapy atm so you'd be better off with the bloxxs, plaz go to shit when wet there freakin awesome in the dry though!
  9. is there anywhere you can buy a single sd7 lever? i've only found them in pairs. (anyone wana go halves?)
  10. i'm going on the pivot point being the spot where the bolt holds the lever in place (i think that what it is :$ ) it's probably a bit off, but i can send you a lever blade it you wana go all out with dimensions. The distance from the bars to the center of the pivot point? 50mm The distance from the pivot point to the center of the TPA wheel? 19.5mm (i think, i just added radius from tpa whole/pivot point whole to the shortest distance in between (7mm)) The diameter of the little circular thing the TPA wheel sits in? 20mm The thickness of the lever blade at the Pivot point? 11mm (the metal on the lever is extruded on both sides, the "normal" thickness is 10mm)
  11. OT: on the subject of maguras wtf is the point of the [post=http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/images/large_maguraclip.jpg]cylinder washer they piss me off so much it's unreal! why don't they make the cylinder flush against the mounts and put small rings of ruber around the caliper/inside the mounts? would be so much easier! what are they for? if it's to stop the magy moving around in the mounts then why not do something like i sugested? grrr also whats with the deng-hating? i don't have a problem with his parts(most of my bikes deng), they've lasted longer than my other brand parts there cheaper than monty/koxx, the anodising/several different brands may have gone a bit far but it's more choice and it makes other brands bring out more products. meh i'm probably to newschool to have a good arguament but i've seen all of the deng stuff outlast other brands rant over do we have any idea of cost/compatibility? (me being poor alot of the time i'd end up getting the lever one month calipers the next ) and any chance of a deng disk brake? (with anodised/branded bore caps that would be so cool)
  12. why didn't you ask someone today when we were riding? and where are you going wrong?
  13. nooo! don't get an echo stem they feel aweful (imo) get one of [post=http://www.vizbikes.co.uk/trialsuk/v1/?p=products&cat=54&pro=67]these my freind runs the echo stem and it feels way to low and hurts your back + neck when riding around hi-rise stem ***!
  14. in flames god forbid breed 77 (i'm no sure if there realy proper metal though) bfmv trivium (first 2 albums) in flames ***! i can send you some on msn if you wana add me
  15. get spured on by people doubting me, specialy if i don't really like em. nothing beats the kind of look on their face when you make something and there like . main put off is watching someone else cock up or have something on thier bike break or a chain-snap or their hub/f.w skips shits me up for a while :$ .
  16. looks detachable. just poking at the rotor saver thing, say you were riding a comp and you hit said protector making it lock up your disk wouldn't that kind of make it pointless, or is it like mega stiff (or would that mean it'd shatter ) meh. i like the rest of the bike i just feel a need to poke at the protector.

    Rage Bar?

just browsing tarty, spoted try-alls [post=http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=10006]rage bar don't get how it gets a £50 price tag when it's only 1g lighter than ZOO! bars (which 'll make f.a difference) and are shorter (700mm/27.5") than zoos (740mm/29") same goes for the monty bars why so much?
  18. have you not sent your validation payment to tom or me yet? new members need to get with the times! pm me for details
  19. if you need it for next day (and can't get a crank extractor) just take the bolt out and ride (be careful you don't round em, just enough to make them woble- then pull them off) or remove your pedal, put the bike down on the pedal-less side stand on the pedal and pull the frame up. or twat the crankarm with a hammer. try them!
  20. ZOO! calipers to match my frame, lever blade, bars, hubs, clamps, cranks, pads, forks AND headsets wholy shit i'm in nooby heaven! lol. think they'l make branded pedals? or tyres? whoring aside i like the look of the lever body, and the clear hosing probably good for knowing when you need a re-bleed hehe. also just noticed tf has changed
