  2. i decided to stick to the old 04 maguras for a while and maybe grind my rim for some more power cheers guys and galz
  3. thanks, yes i much prefer the on / off feel u got with maguras and ive had a lot of experience setting maguras up but thought as im new to RB it might of been the way i set it up. I checked the O rings and there fine no juice comin out of anywhere i will get an old magura and give it a go W00t i cant wait to ride. does anyone know if those new maguras with the extended levers have the same flex problem or not ?????
  4. Ok got my last parts threw today, got them all on the bike, put the back wheel in, set it up got on the bike and BAMM its spongy as fook, so i bleed it and rebleed it but no matter what its wwaayyy to spongy i cant really hop on it, im thinking of putting the lever on a 04 magura but i really dont know. I have a tetra plate on the brake on an 07 echo rim i can feel it bite but then it just keeps on goin. I adjust it so it feels in the right place but the pads are pretty much touching the rim its just not working. any clues anyone
  5. yeah i'd just use a shim/ sleeve! but make sure its aluminium as it will hold the bar better since its a soft metal plus it wont corrode like steel!
  6. 17/17 i started on a stripped saracen exess ( i think ) with some chunky forks an a couple of v-brakes my elbows saw hell and back before i could hop properly they still looked screwed, then a t-pro which i snapped then onto the zoo python and now im building a adamant A1 26" with horizontal drop outs, should get my wheels tomorrow then all i need is a front brake. W00h00 This is my mates account btw
  7. ahhhhh i had this problem once.........it was quite a nasty thing aswell! it might be coming from your rear hub...if the rear hub is not sealed then it might be that your hub cones are tightening up and this can be nasty as it will wreck your hub1 or might be that they are just too tight....! hope thats of some help too you.?
  8. I live in suffolk, aldeburgh is my little town....... we have a few riders down ere but my mate snapped his frame in half, the other bloke doesnt ride much, and im still building my bike (adamant 26" mod) but when i have finished ( which is in about 2 weeks) i can meet u in lowestoft. I know a couple of people who ride down there down on sparrows nest and near the seafront. when i go down there ill organize a ride. Add me to msn echo8 infurnass@hotmail.com and we will sort something out in about 1 months time.
  9. ha ha good topic, table tops over the lifeboat launch ramp lol. no footers and the old faithful crank flip! do we really need to categorise these as dirt or sreet moves though? is'nt a trick just a trick? or a lady/ crowd puuler?
  10. sorry it was the one time i was being lazy and didnt check the search button we all do it sometime or other...... but i couldnt find jack S*&^ on what tools you need. i can grind it but not really sure what with.
  11. So basically im getting my brand new echo 07 wheels threw in a couple of weeks but as there anodised tarty bikes wouldnt grind them for me.... i have no tool to do it and need some help finding the right one for the job. I just wanna know what tool to buy which wont completly rape my rim apart, im not a mechanic but point me in the right direction and ill get the job done. if anyone has a link to a tool shop with what i want that would be awesome. Thanks people.
  12. I'd like to say i believe those pics....but in all fairness they look FAKE! if you did a 45" sidehop that back wheel should be right up your ass for someone you size and you should'nt be that far forward on the bike aswell! Theirs no point in lying to yourself everyone has to start somewhere mate. But if im wrong then well done

I think its in good condition for a trials bike, its been ridden hard but still going strong. zoo pads on the back, all echo parts bassically also including green matching brakes. Radial spoke front wheel. White industries 72 clik freewheel too. You would need some stickers but thats it. Cheers people.

Hey guy's i haven't beem on here for ages....crazy! but i was browsing koxx.fr and saw what seems to be a total mess! the koxx concept bike called a demonboy?! could somebody please help me by saying whats going on, and also what anyone thinks? i think the frame looks the dog's b*!locks though
  24. Hey you i had this problem like 2years ago at the end of summer holidays and i actually gave up trials and started dirt jumping but then as last year i started again when i got my new bike and i hadn't lost any skills and quickly progressed learning more stuff and i'm still loving it. A good motivator i find is to buy some new parts not expensive though like new tyres or bars something like that and you might find that your bike will feel a little different and you will do different stuff or just go all out and get a new frame or wheels Just try doing different things to your bike and messing around.
