  1. Hey , i threaded one of my four bolts on my monty, it's really easy to fix mate. just find yourself a tap and die set get a m6 cutter put some tapping oil/lube in first and take it easy when doing it to get a nice cut and turn it in gently too start the cut, each time do 2 full turns and then turn it the opposite way a half or a full turn to get all the old crap cut off thread out, repeat this process until your happy you have cut enough thread. if you want do as these guys reccomended find yourself some helicoil/replacement thread insert to put in their as they're steel and much stronger wahey i just noticed i've been validated
  2. Hey i would reccomend ea50 too anyone i got rid of them about 2months ago and i had them for 2 years they managed to take all the abuse i gave them from dirt-jumping then when i switched back to trials i kept them for a year, very good bars, very strong and feel comfotable to ride as well. Highly reccomended mate
  3. I think that trials competitions being pushed into the commonwealth games might be a good idea. Although i could argue both sides of this statement. The benefits of trials competitions being part of the commonwealth games is that our sport will benefit alot because their will be places built to accomodate our sport and councils will really push kids into getting more active and healthy by encouraging them to take part in a sport, and the public who previously hated us e.g.(police and grannys) will or may accept the sport. More companies may/will get involved in desining/manufacturing parts which in some cases may be stronger and cheaper than todays products. Another benefit i can see is that the competitions would be amazing to watch in 2-3games time because so many more people from all over our world would be watching and competing to be the winner worldwide unlike nowadays when its only trials riders who know who is the world champ which im not saying is a bad think at all. Can anyone see any other benefits of or downsides too this? What are peoples views on this? anyone agree dis-agree? i was thinking about this at work today, and thought it might be a topic for discussion cheers guys
  4. Dunno why but 'NELLY Grilllz'
  5. This topic is still going...brilliant those pics are f-ing hilarious, that poor chav is gonna get the shit ripped out of him if all his townie mates get hold of them?
  6. like the way you think Also i would like to point out that the chav started it by getting aggresive as they all do
  7. a good f**k is better than a nice gap Damn you are so right might and yeah she was hot and i regret it. but i've a new one meh Trials is so addictive though. not just the riding but buying new 'bling bling' parts too. everyone can find something newer and better for their bike and spending money can show signs of addiction! But as long we enjoy ourselves f!*k it i say
  8. guess its fair game for the both of them bring on the pain
  9. As the title says...but i was thinking today at my job at my new job which i've needed for a while so new parts very soon. YES Look i've already decided what to do with money i haven't got. I've nearly finished my a-levels but failing as i dont go to school if its nice weather and my friends are off work at home so i always ride if they're about, I always look at trials stuff on the net at skool! Does anyone have this addiction to the sport or am just one messed up mofo? Also what sacrafices have you made for this sport? And i mean big ones! Oh yeah i should put down a sacracfice i think, my LAST Girlfriend really wanted to go too our schools ball but i said i didn't have money but guess what i did and you can guess what it was spent on bike parts and yes she noticed the parts soon after and sussed me out! and yes she got rid of me
  10. Also is it the goodridge hoses which you can get in different colours or is it just the connecting ends which you can get? Hope the question makes sense cause i did try
  11. ha ha your a funny chap...man on a mission after a chav should make a list of life goals and put him at the top how old is he! he looks about 14 and he's threatening you! PS im still laughing at this topic its f-ing funny as
  12. Ha Ha Ha i dont really know many people on here but oh my god this topic is so so funny that little retard chav guy is making me laugh my head off the picture of him is hilarious its so tipicle of a chav to say something like that im laughing me head off as i write this i'd love to meet this willy so bad and laugh at him then. Ash i think when you next see him run up behind him and cack him
  13. Because they're a lot more flexible you can run basically through, over and along wich ever ever part of your bike suits you best and yes theu are alot stronger so in the long run worth the money as you wont break them as often also they look the tits i have to say and can give better lever feel
  14. Yeah i defenitley agree trials is all about having fun so are all sports and i can really say i'd much rather be out having fun with my friends rather than worrying about sponsorship and signing formsand having to travel were i don't wanna and all that biz, but if people are good enough for sponsorship and give our sport a good name then go for it cause its people like that can influence other people to really enjoy the sport and have an idol to follow in their life. But im just as happy riding how i want being happy with the bike i have, meeting great people and watching some of the most amazing people out their, and reaching goals that i set myself and thats what our sport is all about and i hope many people will agree.
  15. Yeah when he said we live east coast of ipswich we live 21 miles north of it then 4 miles east! And we both cant drive! We know about darsham but i think they hold comps every now and then and aint a proper club, i'll have to go their myself and ask i think. Cheers about essex though i'll look into that
  16. Ha ha i know infurnass its my mate stefan...he told me he wanted to make a video i aint seen him today was meant to go riding with him but i was working I dont think he's going for a big time sponsor he is a wicked rider i have to say and he is well worthy of entering competietions and doing well. But were we live its hard to get to comps and stuff let alone find a club to join! What i think my mate wants to do is get a small sponsor e.g. a shop or something alike to help him go and enter comps and help progress the sport for himself further not become some manic hero over night....hope this has helped clear things up for people
  17. I have an onza ronnie rim on the rear...and im using koxx browns  and the grind has lasted so far for about 2months with hardly any wear, i ground it using a really harsh grinding stone on a drill which gets it really rough but is harder to do!
  18. The respones to this topic are very interesting to read....it seems my parents are the only people who hate trials when i was borrowing my mates t-master this week they never said anything about how small or wierd it must of looked to them but before when i had my monty which basically they look like a bike with no seat which now i've got back they said all that stuff about having a sensible bike and that i'm glad to here though that area parents out their backing our sport
  19. I,ve got onza fly guy's and they feel awesome well light and dead strong Had them just over a year they look pimpin too
  20. Hey yah the week is finally over....got my bike back today nicely re-welded . And their ain't a chance i'm sticking to mod i love my monty cant believe i thought about changing i'm so glad to have it back. i went back and rid those pallets after i found my crack their and was nailing everything i tried but i can see why people ride mod as they're so nippy and easy to move around a smaller stuff but i find stock a lot easier for bigger sized obstacles i think i might invest a new frame soon though like a monty 231ti (i wish) PS cant believe i posted that post above
  21. My friend has had this problem before on his mod when he bought some yellow koxx blocks he had his cylinders maxed and the rim was too wide! So we just filed the pads down, took a while but it works...just make sure you file them flat Hope that helps buddy
  22. That looks tidy as mate, good job liking the gold bashring i have to say also i really do like the look of adamant frames
  23. Ha Ha Ha lmao so hard, those comments were brilliant... i couldn't see the pics though could job i didn't really or might of fallen off my chair in histerics i saw a few chav girls today one was still in her pink pyjammas . Well done to the man for finding that
  24. Go for it mate make the mounts so they can be adjusted a little bit (up and down) so you can move them to exactly where you want them, thiswill save you having to make another set you dont measure the exactly how you need them. I did that quite annoying really!
  25. Hey thier, i have a monty and the 4 bolt mounts are made for 25" wheels so a made some adapters that are tidy as, which means i can run 4 bolts on a 26" wheel in my frame if i had a camera i would show you what i did, i dont know if you can buy these sort of things but just make some brackets if you can to move your 4 bolts down a couple of inches
