  1. I thought it was the blue and grey one that is the 03 model, because it comes with v-brakes. The model that my friend could be potentially buying has magura's and has red forks but that all i know. does anyone have any pictures of this model?? Thanks :D
  2. Im pretty sure that the one that im after for my friend is the red and grey one. could anyone also tell me if the 04 model has a 19" rear wheel or a 20" :D Thanks
  3. Im pretty sure that the ddg hub is the same as the mission hubs, and from past experience it tends to be the freehub which tends to mess up. your best bet is getting a new hub. hope hubs are really good, plenty of engagments dont brake often and if they do hope service is excellent (Y)
  4. Glad to see that you are gonna start, cant wait for you to come out riding on a real bike
  5. Hi, i've managed to convince my friend to buy a second hand 04 t-bird of my friend but neither of us can find any pictures of one, does anyone know where i can find any?? and is this a nice bike for my friend to begin on as he has never rode before? thanks joe
  6. What rear hub are you running on your bike at the moment??
  7. i bought my onza t-pro from DAI and i saw both the t-raptor and the t-rex, i would say that you go for the lower spec t-rex, they are much nicer frames to ride than the t-raptor.
  8. Foam grips are the way forward. they are extremely comfortable to ride with so you do not need to use gloves and also have a hell of a lot of grip, and surprisingly they actually last quite a while :P
  9. Shimano freehubs are usually quite bad for doing this. between four of us we managed to get through a good 8 or 9 shimano and mission hubs in the period of a couple of months. Now i've got a fixed rear hub and everyone else are running hope's and we have had no problems since. :P
  10. Im pretty sure that stuff in my shed is covered but i think i will have to have a check now :shifty:
  11. I think my bike is covered on my house insurance for theft. So if it gets stole from my shed garden or house i claim, not sure if i can claim if it gets stolen from elsewhere though :shifty:
  12. My friend ian had the cnc'd echo rim and after bout 2 months it was more of a octagon instead of a circle. However the new echo rims are sweet, made of a stronger metal so are a lot stronger and wider also better for grinding. :shifty:
  13. Guess i'm sort of lucky because i can normally remove my 20/19" onza 'shitty finger' tyre using my thumbs, hurts a bit but it can be done. :shifty:
  14. I think the new inspired 'twentyfourinch' does it for me. just looks amazinlgy nice and streety, just what i like.
  15. hey i think that you can get them from chain reaction cycles. delivery is almost always next day and free. :shifty: if not your local 'hellfrauds' should deffonatly have them in, mite cost a little more from there though.
  16. I run 18:12 with 160 mm cranks and i find this just the perfect set up for my mod, its not overly easy but at the same time is not hard at all.
  17. Go for either the wellgo v'8 or v'12 copy pedal's, there just as grippy and strong as the real dmr's, but cost a hell of a lot less. The only thing is the bearings in them are a bit pants but they still last a long time. :shifty:
  18. I started out riding trials on a saracen mad. I think mine was a 04 model. i really enjoyed riding mine, but the only thing was that i tended to ride mine very hard as i had no control, so eventually the inevitable happened and it snapped  . deffonatly go for the saracen to start, its a really nice bike to learn on. (Y)
  19. go for the zoo!, the tubing on a xtp mite aswell be made from tin foil its that thin. on the other hand the zoo's are very good bikes for street, the tubing is thicker and they can take a good bashing.
  20. 1. rear sprocket/ chassette : DMR single speed kit 2. pedals : wellgo V8 copies (cheaper and just as grippy) 3. chain : KMC kool/KHE collapse 4. chain tensioner : fresh products tensioner
  21. I felt like a rite tit when i realised i sent you a e-mail that you would no nothing about.
  22. in trials chat the is a sticky thread with loads of peoples reviews of different pads, hope this come's in useful for you :(
  23. they ar really nice forks to ride with, although they are not indestructible, i managed to bend a pair and snap a pair
  24. i'm sorry to keep this thread going for ages, but earlyier today i went on my msn to find out that i had received a e-mail from "onzaboymark" that explained that i was going too be moved to be a full member and that all of my worn is going to be moved. I found this a little strange at the time and accepted it and sent Mark a email back saying "i'm glad we got this sorted(sort of)" or something along those lines. however when i was out riding tonite i found out that ross (ross_uk) has used onzaboymarks email address on a annomous email program to send too me. when i found this out i was pissed off with ross a lot. since ross has been a member he has posted nothing but to cause people trouble and most of the time is annoying, rude , abusive and useless. here is a screen shot of the e-mail that was sent as proof.
  25. ive played rugby for 9 years and i also fish a fair bit when i get the chance to.
