  3. Ooooops, sorry, didnt read the thread properly, my bad
  4. Control booster won't fit on a mod, get a echo team booster.
  5. Sorry :$ , just saw that they had the headtubes that look like internal oneslike on the t-pro, didnt realise they where 1 1/8
  6. Saw a limey in Oxford the other day and it had a internal headset, and im pretty sure the zoot has one to.
  7. Ill try get myself down there, ill see if any of the worcsestershire crew want too come.
  8. Yep, they sure do as it is a 2-pot break meaning there are two pistons that move.
  9. Nope, Its a open system with a resivoir so there is always extra oil in the resivoir to take the place of the oil that is being used to adjust the pads so you always push straight onto fluid, so there is no real play in the lever.
  10. There is no TPA on the brake, it has automatic pad ajustmant so the pads will adjust them sleves as they wear. just dont pull the lever without the rotar in the caliper or else you will have to prise the pads apart with a screw driver so the rotar will fit back in. ive warped a rotar on my mono trial put hope replaced it for me, also i had a partially sticky piston so hope replaced my lever for me. great service by them. Also dont give the caliper to many hard knocks as i knocked the seals out of place which made it piss out oil but thankfully hope fixed that for me aswell. As for the performance of the break i love it, i have a 160 mm rotar on my mod and that sends me over the bars easily, has plenty of modultion and lots of bite. deffinatly a brake worth buying.
  11. I dont think it looks like a T-Mag, it certainly rides nothing like one. And im saving for new tyres, bit skint at the moment
  12. Heres my beast, it is the prototype zona zip frame Rides beautifully
  13. I break my crossover hose and hose that goes into the slaves all the time. Usually happens because my foot was catching on my hose when i hopped, there are a couple of methods i used to sort the problem: - i have wrapped tape around my hosing to give it a bit of reinforcment where needed as i cannot afford braided hose but i find that this does the job fine as i have not snapped my crossover in a long time. - also i have had to start watching the angle that my feet have been on the pedals to stop my heel hitting the hose and splitting it.
  14. I'm coming, should be down there with ian, dan, steve and samwise i think. anyidea how much the train will be from birmingham, anyone?
  15. Just take the rap for it and stop crying over it, u shouldent break the law in the first place.
  16. great video beau, your getting your gapping dialed now, was a shame about the quality of some of the clips but the riding was top notch
  17. hs 33's are crap, they break way to much however they dont break as much as the hs 11's due to the fact that the hs 11's have a pants plastic body. And you will also be better off with buying the 04 model as they are a lot stronger than the 05's however the quality of the metal is equally as crap in both, meaning that they both break but the 04's less than the 05's.
  18. My 05 lever is crap, it constanlty leeks and the lever body has a small crack in it which is worrying. Ive had to make my own tpa out of aluminium and i have also stripped the thread in the lever as the aluminium they are made from is so shite it untrue. so in my opinion the 04's are much better, ive never had a problem with any.
  19. Nice pics beau, i remeber the state of your wheel the first time you tried the gap of the pillar in brum, was funny. Wish i saw you destroy another rim trying it agian though, but seeing the video was funny enough keep up the good riding.
  20. coust's are the dogs bollocks, been running mine for about a week on a harsh but not sharp grind!! the only thing is they dont have the best wear rate, especially if you adjust your brakes a lot
  21. if you think about it with a isis bottom bracket there is more surface area on the spline, so when this is in a crank arm it means that as the is more surface area the cranks are less likely to work loose and round off the insides of the cranks like square taper cranks do.
  22. Ive got a welded acs claw and its lasted amazingly compared to the bog standard one i had before. The only thing is that the four points that are used to remove the freewheel have been grounded off so it will be a bitch to get off. If you have the money go for a eno though.
  23. When i had to remove the 12 tooth cog on my onza, i heated the cog up with a blow torch and then put a rather large chain whip on and pulled it. it came off but took a lot of re-heating and pulling.

    Autopsy

I've been watching, some people may think its a bit grim but it is really interesting. most of the topics that each program is on closely relates to the module that i am doing in my human biology class at the moment. I'm still shocked as to how they can have human dissection on t.v, they must have had a shit load of complaints.
  25. I found that the cahin that came with my t-pro snapped all the time. So i just kept using old 9sp chains i had which snapped constantly until i had the money to buy a kmc. now i have my kmc i have had no problems.
