  6. Well i couldn't be bothered to get a rear tentionar(almost everyone i meet dirt jumping says they break) so i decided to try and use the box guide thing that came on the bike, along with a half like chain so i didn't have to adjust the guide wheel so much. When i reassembled after mucking around with the guide wheel for the umteenth time, I forgot to put the box back on but it works a dream! And i do agree i wouldn't mind a better rear brake, thought about running the front one through the headtube? So i still have the freedom of one cable. Thanks for the comments, Chris
  7. After a long time of putting it off i FINALLY decided to clean my DJ bike. Id forgotten what it was supposed to look like, so i thought i share.
  8. Well you would need a single speed kitLink. But use the lockring that you have at the moment! I have hurd the the ones that come with the kit cross-thread and generally mucking things up. Does you're frame have vertical or horizontal drop-outs? Edit: The most popular ratio is 32/16 but i use 38/18. Chris
  9. I would say get a cable brake, because when you start to learn tricks its ALOT cheaper to replace a cable than a hydraulic hose if you fall off. Avid BB5-7 amazing brakes. And about the cassette, i would go single speed if you can less hassle and not as many things to die when you're miles from home.(as almost everything seems to when you are ) Chris
  10. Well i run 38:18 but most people tell me its to hard?
