  1. Hi James, Nice frame you got there mate :D. You really need a high rise stem such as the hi-fi one. You can use a Zoo stem (presuming you have one) with some stem spacer/stackers but you'll need a few. I've a Hi-fi stem at home if you need one. You'll have to catch me on msn tonight though or unless you want me number and sort it today soemtime. Got a pic of you steed?? Pete
  2. It say's that i ''use to run'' it does not say i don't anymore. Thats 4 shops there and notied with a friend. Have not said if they are mine or not have I? Yes i'm being cleaver with my wording as i know what you lot are like. Who are you on MSN? My msn is nuts, 3 accounts now and it keep having more people adding them selfs to it. Get's confusing. You can't have a bike shop with out having qualified mechanics. It's kinda the rule and law...never said Park Tool kit, said they all went to the Park Tool School of Bike Mechanics as i have too. £850 week long corse, get shown everything. We have Park Tools in every shop yeah, we have a the full bike shop outfit, hense why the wrokshops get locked up at night. Tools cost uber money. They are also Sram/Rockshox/TF Trained. They are listed as Rockshox Tuning Spechalists (sp)...but nothing like TF (TF being Tim Flokes not this place) Hope that clears your childish manner up. Sorry. Pete
  3. It's an alright frame to get going on dude. Any frame will snap and crack but some are just weaker than others. It's also how hard you ride them. Check the F/S section dude, some decent frames come up loads in there and you can get a right bargin and have the perfect frame to get you rididng like a pro. Pete
  4. Charlie CTT had it when we went to the DJ Funeral. Left hand leaver ran both front and rear. Rear was like the normal std setup, runinng off a sleave nut and olive were the front was a barber fititng. Had to bleed it from one slave to the leaver, did it with out the front line in then once the rear was aire free fitted the front in and bled that. Requried a very big suringe and i think we got some very odd looks at Did Cote parkway Trian Station. Was a filping cool i tell thei. I had a go but it wasn't easy to use. Pete
  5. We've already had em in and out. Sold 5 set and they were shown way back in late summer 05. Magura rep was showing them to us and also let slip that Magura are thinking of changing the leaver again! Some mass number of complanets and some sport science lot in the states doing a servey on them saying they increse stress, and pain factors. No idea if this is ture but i did have pain in my finger when i used 05's. Pete
  6. I should do really and set the trend, every one who i ride with in Plymouth does. I'm the only one that does not conform. Meh. I guess i might go, i have looked but not found anyhting i like. I so wana ride but weather has been nothing but toilet (work that out for you own devices) here and today is uber cold but sunny as hell. Pete
  7. Hehe quote my self! Sorry i had not sorted my net history out and every time i open a new window the forum is loged on to TF as random. Sorry but that post above was ment to be form htis user name not random.
  8. I duno dude, i think all of it was insulting and was not funny in the least. Yeah htye did get flamed pretty bad. Mind if they are outsiders they had a good look around with what they posted up...kinda suspect i say on that case! Pete
  9. I had a cool chat with OnzaboyMark on msn. he said he loves his and prefers it over his ENO which he ahs just gone abck to and just tuned it up a bit. he prefered the tensile. I trust this man judgement and i hear he is a dam good rider! Pete
  10. Downtime is gonna happen anyway dude. Forum needs a clean up no doute. Bandwidth..well this place is the home of the trials rider so it gets packed like you local cattle market. I duno what went on but i was really discusted that they got let in...but i guess they could of sued soemoens acocunt that they left loged in at school or soemthing. Just asked a mate at work and they said her son's lunch is at 12:45 so they'd be in a lesson right now or they got caught by a teacher or gave up. Pretty anynod at out place being raided and abused, but we can put a stop to it Pete
  11. The Tensile Freewheel is over on OTN, if you google dude you'll get. I haven't a direct link here at work and i'm bit busy but you will find it there. 50 ep's £35 ish (supercycles usally don't change price) Tough as hell ISIS BB tool locking ring tool fitment 18T i think for both MOD & Stock!
  12. I think it's flipping wicked that they are gonna be using this ISIS BB too lidea for the locking ring. Mike's really on the ball er and it's starting to make me twitch to the idea of converting. Trials dave <_< good idea on this topic and ignoring the random ahem topics. Oh price is £35 so probs gonan be £30/£40 but Supercycles are pretty spot on when they say a price they stick to it which i think is bloody good of them. pete
  13. Hi, You mean the Echo CNC'd rims, black with sliver square sections removed and eyelted i think. Yes they seam fairly strong but it'll vairy to how one performs over the other due to riders style and how the the wheel is built. I belive the rear rims have gotten lighter, Echo removing more material then they should and i belive some cracked due to this but do not quote me on this please. Lots of them have been bought and used and it's been a very popular rim, Onza, Koxx odd Alex here and there and now the Sun rim is comen. They are on a offer over at Tartybikes and i think it's a cracking deal if you want cheap spears. The new 48mm seam to be holding and getitng the aproval world wide by ever trials rider to have one, try it and see it. I wouldn't mind getting one. <_<. Hope that helps mate. Pete
  14. Some old Nike things, really good to ride in as they have this huge arch surport inside as there ment for runinng. Them pics are form Tuesday ride with Mr Nick Manning and we both were soaked from Mondays ride so my DC's had to dry out. I'm not a fan of them, never found one that looks good on me, guess i'm vain! Pete
  15. Yeah thats what got me to do this. What is it you do when you make the gravest of mistake. beg, apolgise, say sorry amend you ways and stuff. Well here i be doing this but a new me. Total fresh nothing moved over form the old. Pete
  16. Agh i get you...umm yeah i see his point. Sorry if i was Harsh to you Dude, do agree at times it's deserved both ways but thats the past is it not? Will you take my apology (sp) and an e-beer as a gester (sp) of my good will? Pete
  17. Hehe hey Jon mate. Your a bit more of a legernd than me, not seen you round er at all in a long time. Things good i hope? Pete
  18. Yes i was formaly ''Random''. I though it was best to change and turn over a new leaf in my book. Also what with the recent devlopment on these pads. I wanted to change my name on the acocunt but a new acocunt was going to be much more easyer. Hat, possibly a black beanine you mean? Pete
  19. *For anyone who does not know Pete, take this post (and any others) with a very large pinch of salt* Hi, My names Pete Wright, i live in Plymouth now with my wife Debs and our 4 years old son Keany. I use to live in Bristol, Portishead. I've rode trials for 7 years and now i'm finaly getting better at it! Speced out with King hubs and headset, Custome Hope disc, Urbans, Onza, Middelburns, KHE, Titec, Maxis and Kenda. Here are some pics to check my rididng out! Hope you like..soz if there poor you have to get use to using me camera. Checky & ''have it'' ^really didn't think i'd make it as i did it totaly static and my Chis King slipped as it's service time but hey i still did it. Hope to get more pics and a vid out soon. Cheers
  20. Stick with them at 1/4'' thick Todge, they will be much stiffer and safer that way. i want one now
  21. Brant thats pretty cool...might have to use that now for sending txt's off my pc...and to piss people off Dont be sorry to me self dude, FM has an issue with me right now. Muppet boy he is
  22. Brant - Yes i suffer form that. Spelling which inc grammer etc etc is mega hardand i give in pretty soon due to it ebing so hard. Im sorry Erm i'll be giving you a call Monday i hope dude (Brant)
  23. Erm yeah but i got the frame so it's just the compontes, ie the most expensive out there but the best. I want to see what people would have if they could and list a sec or links to palces
  24. No say i give you my credit card. I say go max it out (good luck on trying) with the most elaboret (expensive out of this world it means) bike parts for a stock trials bike.
