  1. Thanks for the comments so far guys.
  2. yeah, well worth the money. My rear magura always used to move in my old magura clamps but not in the echo's. Look pimp too.
  3. Check it out and please post your comments, good and bad. Sorry it's not finished. biketrials.piczo.com
  4. I am currently running a Hope mono hub on the rear and I can’t fault it. However, if I were you I’d try and get the Chris hub back in working order. Chris king are extremely strong and the engagement is much better.
  5. Personally I prefer the smooth look of the middleburn’s which I am currently using, however I recon that the construction of the echo and tensile cranks are a lot stronger. I'd say Middleburn's all the way though.
  6. Don't you want a stem with a bit more of a rise with the BB hight. When i got my 06 Pitbull, my BB felt very high with a much higher rised stem than that. Surly you feel like your going over the bars?
  7. My mate rides a GU typhoon mod with one of those new echo BB's and the chain line is fine, however a specific Echo ISIS BB tool is required to fit the BB (£8 of tarty bikes), which makes it a bit over-priced for what it is if you ask me. Its only to be used with a fixed front sprocket though as theres not enough room for a freewheel with this BB. It will also give perfect chain line for all Echo rear hubs too. I use a koxx BB on a Zoo Pibull if you thinks thats of any help!!!
  8. Can someone please enlighten me on why anyone should spend £70 on some trials specific shoes such as those made by try-all. What’s so special about them and the point in them because I can’t see them being any different than normal shoes? Cheers gay's and girls Wolfie

  10. It uses sail cams, there sticking out the back of the drop-outs if you look closely.
  11. The other day the spring inside my Surly Singleator (single speed conversion thingy), which holds my chains tension, snapped again. I don’t know about other people’s experiences with this product, but the spring has snapped 3 times, once in the installation under very little tension, and twice more in the re-tensioning of the Singleator after the chain had lost a lot of its tension. On all 3 occasions I have had to re-bend the spring making it smaller each time. I have now given up on this product and I am now using a DMR simple tension seeker, which seems a lot more efficient in doing the same job without the hassle of a spring. Anyway, getting to the point of this topic, I thought it would be useful for everybody to mention any products that you have found no good, which are worth avoiding and why. It would also help if you could recommend an alternative product too. Cheer guys and girls wolfie
  12. A braided hose will defiantly help prevent your problem. Perhaps you should think about running a brake booster so you catch the booster rather than the hose (only an idea).
  13. Not working for me neither, it hasn’t for a week or two now!!! Anyone know whats up with the site?
  14. I’d recommend the ZOO! Pitbull 06 (Y) . I received mine yesterday and it rides really nicely with the +50 BB height, its really stable on the rear wheel and has improved my riding already. You’ll need a higher raised stem with the extra BB height though. If your going by looks and want something a little less common the GU looks very nice the flesh.
  15. Yeah, go for either a Maxxis Minion or High Roller. Its up to you on the compound, Slow Reezay grips better than the Super Tacky, but the Super Tacky lasts longer.
  16. I’d recommend the same as everyone else, Zoo pads perhaps with a bit of tar. :turned:
  17. Don't think it will be as much as that. £600 at the most i would of said. Is there any chance of a larger picture?
  18. First find a slight uphill and figure which is your good foot that you find most comfortable having in front. Keeping your pedals about level with the ground, turn your wheel away from your pedals about 40 degrees. Then try and maintain your position on the slope by pushing lightly on your front pedal. A rocking motion will help you out and apply the front brake when you feel its necessary. The main thing is just to practice and you’ll have them as long as you want before you know it. Hope this helped.
  19. Yeah mitch that look's the mac. :turned:. I'll be wanting a go on that torrow. It cost him £1200 I believe.
  20. I run Maxiss Minion DH in the Slow Reezay 40a compound. They grip on to things well and seem impossible to pinch flat, however they wear down at quite a rate. Was it mod or stock tyres you wanted to know about?
  21. I've used both the 04 and 05 magura HS33's on the rear. Personally I think the 05 lever is more comfortable than the 04 but I had no end of problems with the adjuster pushing through, cause poor lever reach. The 04 lever is also constructed in a stronger way, my mate managed to snap his 05 lever off. If I was you I'd go for the 04 verson :P
  22. Hopefully I should be ordering a Zoo Pitbull frame on mondey from tarty bikes, just want some feedback from anyone who rides one and what frame length you think will be best. I'm about 6 foot 1" and ride street. Cheers
  23. My mates got a 05 echo team and it looks the mac. He really likes the way it rides. Go for it :)
