  1. Just got my brand new sl freewheel from tartys

    So took it out of packet and spun it in hands and went really tight but after a few spins freed up and tried it again and bound right up

    Can also hear bearings rattle about alot, when its bound the bearings still rattler so must be pawls and I have to get a kitchen towel to grip it so i can free it up

    Will it take a few rides to bed in or is it faulty ?

    Remember the old middle burn rs7 cranks that you could get the ti bolt that could also remove the cranks as well as install have that as standard no need for tool

    Never have any frames with snail cams, all grub screws

    A way to get screw on sprockets off easier either splined or a tool that inserts

  4. Hey, i have an echo 24, whats some good tyres for in rainy conditions ?

    Been on the hunt for some too either kenda nevegal or maxxis a 40-42a, arrowracing do a 47 durometer 24x2.75 but same thing only on sale in US

    Have e-mailed kenda and a few other dealers to see if they can get 24" tires in the uk

I used to fish for mackerel and caught plenty july - sep is best time i found and use a spinner not bate for sea fishing unless sandy area, for bait i used limpets and elks or sand worms was best use a led weight and then tie bait few feet up the line so it hangs high but defo spinners work for me

  6. Does anyone wear insoles for flat feet on the bike

    Getting pain behind calf muscle when doing any exercise and cant walk for days after its frustrating the hell out of me, cant train or go out on any bike

    My flat thin duff shoes hurt the worst but they feel and grip the best

I had a hope xc brake many moons ago and was rubbing a little so was trying on shims and spining the wheel to see if was ok was still rubbing, so i slackend off caliper and spun wheel to see what was need and i put the washer in and tighten up and brill no rubbing so i gave the caliper a final wiggle to see if was tight enough and my finger touched the rotor and jammed in the caliper , put my finger in my mouth and tried wheel again and was jammed solid, took my finger out my bloody mouth and argh no finger tip totally straight.

    So going to work was fun as being an engineer, every one was saying stop moaning and get on with it, took plaster off and showed them lol not fun try to screw thing together with a tip missing

    Internet availible

    Catch up tv, bbc i player and so on

    Online gaming slow laggy

    flash player 9 so cant watch stream video online

    Xbox Online gaming the best

    can media stream but only avi or wmp

    No blue ray

    No internet

    If you want for gaming xbox or anything else ps3 is better

    My set up panasonic 42 plasma with ps3 downstairs for media and up stairs x box with 32 samsung for gaming best of both worlds can watch dvd and avi films on both . I dont like xbox controller why have the joy stick in different places my hands are both the same

  9. Interesting they said it was trials making you unbalanced. Which leg is your forward or chocolate foot? I'd guess the thigh on this leg is stronger and calf on the back leg is stronger?

    Right foot forward, left leg rear this the one woth problems ie calf , hams

    If you sit at end of bed, thighs half way on/off bed bring one knee to chest and lie back the other rested, the rested leg on mine pull outwards meaning tight hams/thighs

    When he pushes on my foot and i push back out using thighs right no probs left shakesnd struggles, plus i stuggle on left leg to balance, cant bend down and touch ground, right can do anything much stonger

  10. It was a nhs thing i went through and was free so i cant complain, also got my biomechanics sorted (flat feet and legs retrained to straight) so in a bit of pain, really annoying because i got a new echo 24 sitting and cant go out much

  11. So been having problems with my left leg (back foot on bike ) and tweaked hams and sore calfs, just been back form physio and been told my left leg is much weaker than the right due to trials bike and making me unbalanced

    Over the last few weeks have been doing streches and exercises on one leg but he said best bet is a wobble board or bosu ball and and do squats and jump on/off

    So looking for some balance training and equipment, any recommendations if anyone has used these

  12. Have hs33 with 6 years of antifreeze in them and only bled twice so far and no sticky pistons, cutstom made alu tpa and 4 finger lever. Also have tnn clamps and booster so easy to set up, can take them off and back on in exact place and work just the same

    As for not staying in place could be bad threads in frame, longer bolts to catch good threads or helicoil or timesert holes out very easy to do

    Before i got the echo frame with grub screw tensioner i used echo tr snail cams with micro notches and made from steel worked for me and i mashed loads of snail cams, also filed a bit of axel off to ensure axle bolts gripped frame and not on axle

    As for v only used them when they first came out back in early 90s swapped them for cantis on my full sus then disk came out never looked back

    Edit you still got fix your bolt holes for v adaptor to bolt in and stay tight

My left chocolate foot (back foot) on bike has pain from outside knee through to inside/middle of calf to inside of ankle its like cramp but deep inside, when i point my foot forwards and turn my foot to outside it hurts, I beleve its the tibialis posterior muscle and i cant walk that great the now so how do i train this stronger, i also i have flat feet which prob dont help, gonna stay of bike the now and rest but phsyio said left is alot weaker than right so i have to train left leg but only gave leg squats on left only
