Manifesto by far is the best trials DVD i have ever seen and i highly recommend that everyone goes out and buys it !!! (he is canadian by the way!) I'm not sure why we don't hear from him, it is probably because he is in america / canada. He is still my favorite rider by far, the balance lines he does are amazing. Clawz p.s He has a new DVD called mastering the art of trials, which is like a video walkthrough of all the moves you could possibly imagine, i think its around 50 different trials moves shot from different angles and in slow motion etc. I will definitely be buying it when i get some money together.

I have some, i got mine at NASS 2005 for £12 each. They are all right i suppose, i found that the wear rate wasn't very impressive, my rear lasted me 2-3 months. whereas my Tioga white dragon lasted a few months longer. But i have to admit they are super grippy in the dry but yes they fall down in the wet... Clawz

www.ebaumsworld.com I like this site because it gets updated regularly, with new videos, pictures and games. If you don't mind searching through lots of videos to find the best ones then this is a good site for you. It is definitely one of my favorite sites...after trialsforum of course! Dan

Very Pissed Off About Posting Messages!

ok i agree with just wait and all that, but its really hard when you are in desperate need of a new back wheel, or something like that...you are short of money...you find a wheel on the for sale section but they dont have their msn address on their profile, you post loads of stuff to try and get validated and you have to just sit and watch as the part you needed so badly gets sold away to someone who is already validated. i dont know how the system works, but it seems that most people get validated so maybe i am just one of the few...if the system is perfectly fine then im not going to argue with that, i just want to talk to people not run the forum Clawz -
hmm let me see, would i prefer a brake that can stop me when i use my little finger...or a brake which gets frayed cables...pads which have more bolts and washers than my local bike shop...maguras are the way forward, with braided hosing

ok, we definitely need to create a description of trials... that is way too long, by the time you have got halfway they would have fallen asleep or gagged you. so why dont we all put together stuff and make a SHORT description, say...1 or 2 sentances, 1 would be best... that was pretty good, but maybe it could be changed a little, maybe....... trials is a sport where by the rider of the bike trys to negociate himself over all obstacles in his path using hopping a balance without placing a foot onto the floor... how about that? Clawz

lol, oww did you hit your head then? my worse so far... i was on a pile of 5 pallets on my rear wheel about to hop accross a gap and i go to pedal-hop...nothing in the rear wheel grips. no engagment until about a quarter of a turn. so i put in lots of power into a kick and my front goes down...down...down and i go down with it. i almost go over the bars but i manage to just crumple on the floor. my lever got snapped, (magura hs33 2005) and i landed my hand in a few nails but i think there will be worse than this...

hi, i was wondering. everyone knows about the onza hog rims with the little hogs stamped out of them? well i saw on the onza website a picture of about 10 of the stamped out hogs, all different colours with a hole where the eye is, just wondering if you can buy them??? thanks a lot Dan

panning is usually done on a tripod, you just attach it and push the camera round so it is a smooth motion. no ShAkInG ArOuNd like you get by hand. and no windows movie maker cant reverse clips to my knowledge, but you can slow stuff down and speed up etc. it is a very good program seeing as it is free.

Hi, just a quick question. I've just seen the new Heatsink metal magura backings, and i was wondering if anyone has any as i am considering getting some. They cost around £32 for a pair of metal backings and Heatsink pads. Although they look very nice, are they worth the money? Thanks Dan

Truvativ trials crankset for £50. i am running it and it is a very nice crankset, looks cool as well. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=8306 Clawz

i know they are correct me if im wrong but do you think he is having trouble finding 2004 maguras for less than £110???? i dont think so. he is talking about 2005 and i was answering his question. Clawz

IDEA!!!!! how about we get a rim grind, and make some pads out of tar complete with tiny little apple trees so there will be a never ending supply of apples for good braking Clawz
-
hi there, me and my mate have discovered a cheap alternative to tar, we have only tried this on his bmx so im not sure if it would work on maguras but it should work the same. this is what you do: get some fruit, an apple works best. cut off a piece of it and rub it around your rim (no joke lol) the juice from it will dry and make the pads grip to it more. this will usually make loud squeaking noises when you brake which is great for scaring people dont use too much otherwise the pads will stick to the rims for a little bit after you brake. as i said we havnt tried this on maguras, but it worked fine on bmx brakes. maybe it would be better if you just covered 1 side of the rim?
